38. He's right.

-time skip- (4 weeks)

PABLOS POV:

Mila got out of hospital 3 days ago, she was supposed to get out 2 weeks ago but something else happened to her to which she had to stay for even longer. I went to see her basically everyday and pedri came with me most days. Ferran and fermin came sometimes as well. Since she's been in hospital she seems a lot healthier and happier.

I'm so glad to see her like that, she finally had her spark back.

The entire time I've been visiting her the more my feelings have been growing for her too. I feel like there's something there but I'm too scared to admit it and ruin our friendship.

Right now I'm at home. It's Saturday night 18:26pm. We didn't have a match today since we played on Friday. (We had a free day)

I was supposed to go see mila but Xavi said I'm not spending enough time to recover properly, so he's put me on a house lockdown for tonight.

It's fine because pedri went to see her just to keep her company. She is healthy now but the nurse said for the week after she gets out of hospital someone should we looking over her.

After hours of boredom pedri finally came home.

"Hey!" I said jumping up, happy to see another breathing human being.

"Hi" pedri said back as he took his shoes off

"How is she?" I asked eager

"She's good, not much has changed since the last time you text me 1 hour ago" he grinned

I rolled my eyes and walked back to the kitchen.

"Pablo when are you going to tell her?" Pedri said coming to stand behind me

"What?" I asked confused

"Tell mila that you love her?" He said

"Ugh pedri we've been over this" I said agitated

I tried to walk past him but he pushed my shoulder back

"Pablo I've genuinely had enough of this I don't know what it is with you and why your so scared to tell her but you can't sit around and wait your whole life to tell her how you feel, I don't know if your scared of rejection or whatever but it's getting stupid, everyone can see it except you" he said annoyed

I looked at him and everything just hit me.

He's right.

I can't just sit around and wait for her.

"Okay fine your right but I don't know how to tell her" I said

"No way!" He said shocked

"What?" I asked worried

"You actually just admitted to liking her for the first time... like ever" he said now smiling

I rolled my eyes. I think he noticed my reaction and changed the subject.

"You just need to tell her straight up." He said

"NO" I shouted

He looked at me weird.

"No... i.. i mean I have to make something nice for her, it can't be boring" I said, deep in thought

Pedri admired me closely.

"What?" I asked

"I've just never seen you care about something as much as this" he said and walked out

"Hey I need your help!" I shouted at him

"I think you will figure it out, I've done enough" he shouted back and headed upstairs

Okay. Time to get thinking.

Hours later... I finally had it. The perfect plan.

I ran upstairs to tell pedri the plan and he approved and said it was amazing.

I called ferran and Fermin so they could help as well. The four of us where on FaceTime whilst I was telling them the plan, gladly, they all agreed.

Now I just needed the most important person.

I drove over to milas.

Don't ask me why I didn't text her... I couldn't answer you.

As soon as I arrived I knocked on her door.

She answered with a big smile.

"Pablo!" She said excitedly and brought me in for a hug

I happily hugged her back then I snapped back to reality.

"So what are you doing here? Aren't you suppose to be recovering." She said

"Well yeah I was supposed to be but I had to ask you something" I said

"Well..." she replied

"I need you to be ready tomorrow at 4 o'clock, I'll pick you up- wear something nice but not too fancy" I said

She laughed and smiled.

"Is that it?" She said

I was confused

"You couldn't text me that?" She laughed again

My face relaxed.

"Good question. I guess I wanted to see you" I said

She smiled at me and nodded.

"Do you want to come in?" She asked

"I would of loved to but I have to go back to mine since pedris mum and dad are coming over" I told her

She fake gasped

"And I'm not invited!" She said hurt

I laughed

"I guess they prefer me" I said

"Yeah yeah, bye pablito

I rolled my eyes and kissed her on her head before leaving.

Okay the plan is set in stone.
