Some humans,

Were made,

To crash and burn.

Since we are born,

We are molded,

Created within a capsule,

Of alien,

Enclosed emotions.

Time swiftly passes by

As we,

Victims of our own shortcomings,

Voice our manifestations,

Into the world,

Regardless,

Of what is right,

And what is wrong.

We wage war against nature,

Standing at the very pinnacle

Of blissful human imperfection,

Then,

Out of nowhere,

We are blindsided by life.

Without realizing,

We are put at the crosshairs,

Of life decisions,

Pinnacle moments,

Critical instances that manifest,

In way of a life lesson.

Regardless of who we are,

Of what we know,

These times,

Like a sharp blade,

Traverse through us,

Making us suffer,

Plaguing our minds to no end.

Days of unending suffering,

With time,

Become so much as a memory,

In the distance.

To some,

A turning point in life,

To others,

Another valueless memory.

A painful speck of dust in the eye,

Easily blown way.

A step away from bliss and disaster,

A trip away from the abyss of nothingness.

I am aware,

Aware that these times have not gone in vain.

As some wish to push away their failures and weaknesses,

I wish to take hold,

Pull them closer,

So they can remain forever

As an infinite reminder,

Of my growth and acquired knowledge.

Forever a remembrance,

Of days passed,

Wicked stories immortalized,

In my very soul.

I wish to remain close to my failure.

So that it might be present

AS I breathe tomorrow,

But never again,

With a protagonists role in time.

Regardless of who you are.

A blissful wisp that learns from its mistakes,

Or a self-destructive typhoon stuck forever,

Upon its very axis.

Our daily fight is not against he who stands before you.

Our fight is with he who stands across the mirror.

Tame him and obtain the world at your side.

Neglect him and lose yourself forever.
