"I, Pratap Singh, vow to serve my motherland with righteousness, justice and humility. I shall not desert my comrades in the face of danger and shall stay loyal to my duties as the commander-in-chief of the army."
Turning towards the army he unsheathed his sword and hailed, "Jai Eklingji! Jai Mewar!"
"JAI EKLINGJI! JAI MEWAR!" Hollered the army in one thunderous voice.
"KUNWAR PRATAP KI JAI! KUNWAR PRATAP KI JAI!"
As the accolades of praise echoed across the bastion, Kunwar Shakti glanced at Kunwar Pratap asking, "Do I get to join you?"
"What makes you think I'd spare you?" Grinned the crown prince, making Kunwar Shakti give a small smile in response.

"Ranaji, what if something happens to Kunwar Pratap? He's still so small!" Exclaimed an anxious Rani Dheerbai.
Rana Udai Singh chuckled and gently cupped her cheeks saying, "You honestly must learn to let go of him now. He isn't so small anymore..."
"But ranaji...I barely got to spend time with Kunwar Pratap when he was small...It is, as though I've lost a major part of his childhood..."
Rana Udai Singh sighed heavily replying, "If only Jaivantabai ji was not so paranoid, Kunwar Pratap would've led a comfortable life in the palace..."
Rani Dheerbai nodded with a melancholic smile over her lips.
