When the Devil is released from his cage, he can feel a pull like a beacon calling him forth. What he felt had only happened to one angel before he was locked away.
It was legend: every angel is assigned their human to guard and protect.
The human could be at the dawn of creation or billions of years later but the human chosen was always specific to the angel assigned. Apparently, his Father had plans because now, in the middle of the Apocalypse, Lucifer finally got his disgusting, little human.
But there was a problem: Lucifer fell utterly in love with her.
