Short Summary
ESMERALDA was professionally diagnosed with clinical depression age sixteen. It was hard enough being a woman living in a man's world, being a victim to the patriarch through her high school days. Lingering stares, whistles, hand up her skirt and unsolicited mansplain explanations during her exams when asking the simplistic questions.
It was so hard wanting to live every minute of day with no without hearing unnecessary, filthy, cat calls on her morning walks along Venice beach. Seagulls cawing, watching people ingratiate among the shop vendors and having Taylor swift blasting in her headphones eases her.
There was no preparation for what she had seen. Nothing never surprises her but certainly wasn't ready to have an eccentric, overly eager and creepy smiling man wearing a pink and yellow leotard roll in to her life on a sunny afternoon. No literally, his Florescent rollerblades would haunt her nightmares.
He's a literal Ken doll. Which she could add to her list of things she never would hear or see. Especially since he becomes infatuated, following her home. Not at all alarming. He doesn't understand the concept, in his hollow mind of no thoughts, and how she punches him straight im the face breaking his plastic nose.
Let's just say Ken fell in love at first punch. And Esmerelda now has a ken doll obsessing over her.
