Prince Jimin made his way to the grand library with eager anticipation, ready to meet his scholar and delve into his lessons on the techniques of light manipulation. As he entered the vast halls lined with towering bookshelves, he felt a sense of excitement and wonder wash over him. Jimin knows that he will spend most of his day here, absorbed in the knowledge and wisdom contained within the library's walls.

With each step, he inhaled the familiar scent of old parchment and ink, feeling a sense of comfort and belonging amidst the endless rows of books. Jimin's love for the library was unmatched, as it offered him a sanctuary where he could expand his mind and deepen his understanding of the magical arts.

As he settled into his lessons, Jimin's enthusiasm only grew, fueled by his passion for learning and his determination to master his abilities. With the scholar's guidance, he immersed himself in the intricacies of light manipulation, eager to unlock the full extent of his potential. A thought had been lingering in the back of his mind for quite sometime now. It has kept him awake at night.

"What is darkness?", he finally blurted out. Silence stretched between them for nearly a minute.

The scholar's discomfort was palpable as he considered Prince Jimin's question about darkness. "Darkness, in its essence, is the absence of light," he began, cautiously. "While light represents clarity, illumination, and warmth, darkness is often associated with obscurity, mystery, and coldness."

Jimin listened intently, sensing there was more to the scholar's hesitation. "But why don't we have dark magic then?" he persists. "And why is it forbidden? Is it inherently evil?"

The scholar sighed, his expression troubled. "Dark magic is not inherently evil, but it can be easily corrupted by those who seek power for nefarious purposes. It taps into the primal forces of the universe, tempting its wielders with promises of dominance and control."

He paused, choosing his words carefully. "Long ago, dark magic brought chaos and destruction to our land. It threatened to consume everything in its path until the people of Lumina and the King, united to banish it from our kingdom. Since then, the use of dark magic has been strictly forbidden, lest we risk repeating the mistakes of the past."

Jimin nodded solemnly, understanding the gravity of the scholar's words. As he pondered the implications of darkness and its forbidden allure, he realized that there was much more to learn about the delicate balance between light and dark, and the consequences of wielding such powerful forces.

The scholar's hesitation was evident as Prince Jimin questions the existence of dark magic users in Lumina. "Darkness cannot simply vanish, Prince," the scholar responded solemnly. "It may lie dormant, hidden in the shadows, biding its time until it can emerge once more. But here in Lumina, there is no darkness. Not an ounce of it."

Jimin furrowed his brow, contemplating the scholar's words. "But if darkness still exists, where does it hide?" he asked, a hint of concern in his voice.

The scholar offered a reassuring smile. "Darkness may exist beyond our borders, lurking in distant lands or in the hearts of those who seek to do harm. But within the boundaries of Lumina, our devotion to light and purity keeps the darkness at bay. It is our duty to remain vigilant, to protect our kingdom from the shadows that would seek to engulf it."

Jimin nodded, a newfound resolve shining in his eyes. He understood the importance of upholding the principles of Lumina and safeguarding against the encroaching darkness. With the scholar's guidance, he would strive to honor his heritage and protect his homeland from any threat that may arise.
