Chapter 32

"I love you too..." I said, after he pulls away. He moves to lay down, urging me to do the same. I lay down next to him. He wraps his arms around me. I snuggle closer to his side, closing my eyes. As much as I'm afraid to fall asleep because I'm scared he might be a dream. But the sound of his heartbeat assures me that this is real. He's really here.

Y/N P.O.V

After a few days, my body finally regain its strength. I can finally leave the Hospital Ward. Of course, Muzan would take me straight to my Estate, claiming that he wants to make sure I still rest for a couple more days before I can do any activities. I didn't expect him to go on full protective boyfriend mode. But, I'm happy about it nonetheless. It shows how much he cares about me.

I turn my head to look at Muzan as he enters my room with a tray in his hand. "I made you something to eat, love. But I don't know if it's going to taste good, because I can't taste human's food. So, forgive me if it tastes bad, okay?" He said. I just smile at what he said. He places the tray on small table before setting it in front of me.

I scoop some food with a spoon and take a bite. I blink my eyes a few times. I turn my head to look at Muzan who stares at me nervously. He visibly gulps after he sees that I had swallowed the food.

"It tastes alright. A little too salty. But it's still good" I said, smiling softly at him. He let out a sigh of relief. I smile softly and gently pinch his cheek. "Thank you for your effort to cook something for me, Muzan..." I said. He smiles softly at me.

"For you, my Queen... anything" he said. He places a soft kiss on my forehead. I smile softly at him, appreciating his loving gesture. I turn my attention to the food and continues to eat. For a demon who can't eat human's food. He makes a pretty decent meal.

"Thank you for the meal, Muzan..." I said, smiling softly at him after I finished the meal. Muzan stands up and kisses my cheek. He grabs the tray, along with the table to take it out.

I lean my back against the headboard as he walks back inside not long after. He walks up to me, taking a seat next to me. He leans his back against the headboard. I scoot closer to his side, allowing him to wrap his arm around my shoulder. He pulls me closer, making me flushed against his side. I smile softly at his gesture as I place my head on his shoulder.

I turn my head to look at him and smiles softly. He lift his hand, gently tucking a strand pieces of hair behind my ear. He slowly starts to lean in. I close my eyes as I feel his lips pressing against mine.

The sound of knocking, makes me pull away from him. He clicks his tongue in visible annoyance. I gently pat his chest to calm him. I try to stand up, only for him to pull me back down. I stare at him in confusion, making him let out a chuckle.

"I'll see who it is. You stay..." he said. I huffed at what he said, but nod my head either way. He's not going to give in anyway. He's too stubborn for that. He smiles at me and places a soft kiss on top of my head. He stands up and makes his way out of my room. I just lean my head against the headboard.

I hear footsteps coming closer towards us. I furrowed my eyebrows when I realize it's more than just a pair. I turn my head to look at the door just as Muzan re-enters my room with Kocho following behind him. A soft smile is present on her face.

"Y/N-San... I have good news for you both" she said. I straighten my body and give her my full attention, as I wondered what news she has for us. She turn to look at Muzan for a brief moment before turning back to me. "I have found the solution. The cure... to turn demons back into human" she said.

My eyes widened. "A-Are you f-for real?" I asked. She smiles and nods her head. I turn to look at Muzan with a happy grin. "But... but how, Kocho-San? What did you use?" I asked, turning my head to look at her.

"Your blood... it has some sort of reverting property. I fused it with a few things, and it killed the demon blood that I had extracted from Muzan" she said. I just stare at her in shock. She smiles at the two of us. "Though in order to complete the cure, I'm gonna need to take more of your blood, L/N-San. If that's okay?" She said.

"That's fine by me" I said, nodding my head. I turn my head to look at Muzan, waiting for him to say what he thinks about it. He turn his head to look at me.

"Maybe wait a couple more days until you're completely healthy?" He suggested. I let out a sigh and lightly nod my head. Of course he's going to say that. I don't know what got him so protective over me. But I know I can't argue with him on this.

"Alright... a couple more days it is..." I said. Muzan nod his head, satisfied with my answer. While Kocho smiles at me. "Thank you, Kocho-Chan..." I said. She nods her head and excuses herself. I wave at her. She turn around and walks out.

Muzan smiles at me, as I grin happily. I stand up and throws my arms around his neck. He wraps his arms around my waist. He picks me up, twirling us around. I let out a gleeful cheer as I hold onto his shoulders for support.

"I'm so happy, Muzan!!" I said, after he places me back on my feet. My arms are still around his neck. "Soon, you will be able to turn back into a human, just we've always wanted!" I said. He smiles at me as he cups my cheeks.

"I'm happy too, Y/N. We can finally be together without having to worry about what people might think about us" he said. I smile happily and nod my head. He leans his forehead against mine. "I love you, Y/N. So much" he said.

"I love you too, Muzan..." I said. He smiles at me. He leans down, placing his lips against mine. I close my eyes and wraps my arms around his neck. He pulls me closer by the waist, tilting his head to deepen the kiss. I'm so happy... we've finally found the answer we're looking for!
