शहर कोई भी हो,
अपने भितर मुस्कुराने की एक ना एक वजह जरूर रखता है।
कुछ ऐसा ही है अदब और ते:झीब् का ये शहर!!

यहा पर मुस्कुराहट मुकम्मल होती हैं।

और इस मुस्कुराहट को कभी भी फिका नही पड़ने देती यहां की पुलिस।
कर्मठ जुझारू और सर्तकीय पुलिस। शहर की शान को हमेशा अपनी जान से बढ़कर मानती रही।

लेकिन बिते कुछ सालो‌ में वक्त के साथ ये महकमा ना जाने कब इतना सक्त हो गया की लोगों ने इसके प्रति कई गलत धारणाएँ बनाली।
मसलन,पुलिस मुहं कम और लात से ज्यादा बात करती है।

पर ऐसें में मॅडम सर का थाना है।
जो आज भी जझबातों को तवजू दे रहा था।
और लोग एक बार फिर से कहने लगे थे;
मुस्कुराइए ये मॅडम सर का शेहर है!!

तो चलीए हम भी मुस्कुराते है और निडर और बेफिक्र होकर मॅडम सर के थाने में चालते है।

Author's POV

The police Jeep halted before the newly built police station attracting the people's gaze around it.
One by one the passengers stepped out of the Jeep shocking almost every person present there!!

The group walked towards the police station with firm steps and adoring the station from top to bottom.

The commissioner of Lucknow came before them with a proud smile and handed over a small scissor to inaugurate the newly formed Mahila Police Thana.

" Vaise toh jab bhi Naya thana khulta hai tab hum hi uska udghatan karte hai...par iss Thane ki baat hi kuch alag hai...toh iss bar humare kaabil officers aur deshbhakt iss Thane ka udghatan karenge...." The commissioner of Lucknow announced over the camera as reporters were gathered for the masala news.

Cutting the ribbon tied on the door of the station the team once again got their home back.
Claps echoed with the clicking sound of camera's as the reporters captured the blissful moment.
