Sometimes I yearn to vanish into the unknown,
Seeking solace where tranquility may reside.
A chill grips my soul, seeking warmth in the void,
Longing for respite from the relentless tide.
The urge to fade without a trace consumes,
Unnoticed, unremarked by those around.
In their absence, perhaps, they'd find joy,
Relief in the silence, where peace is found.
Fatigue mistaken for idleness, misunderstood,
Sadness perceived as anger, misconstrued.
Grant me but a bit more strength, a shred of grace,
Before I shatter, before I'm gone for good.
At any moment, I might slip away,
Into the ether, forever to roam.
So, I implore, extend your hand to save,
Save me from this abyss, bring me home.
