Kuni flew to Kazuha's house, and within a minute they were there.

Kauha ran inside, and started grilling fish and broth for soup.

They didn't have dinner at the festival, and Kazuha's a good cook, so he agreed to make them dinner.

Once he was done, the both sat at the table.

Kuni poured them each a glass of sparkling water.

He took a sip of the soup.

"Hm this is very good... I always love when you make food."
Well, except desserts. Those are disgusting no matter who makes them."
He said while crossing his arms.

Kazuha burst out laughing, and almost spit out his sparkling water.

"What?"

"Its just— sheesh, what is with you and your hatred for sweets? Ive never seen anything like that from anyone I've ever known before."

"Heh, well it makes sense.
For most people growing up eating desserts is normal.
For me, it was like a small child being forced to eat their vegetables.
My mom is obsessed with sweet things.
Because of this, she strictly held the policy:
"Sugar a day keeps the sickness away."

Growing up, me and Shou were always forced to eat a big plate of dessert after the meal, or else no leaving the table.
Ever since then, I've always hated desserts.
Especially dango, thats her favorite one.
Nothing but a reminder of my mother, who chose to neglect her child's needs— knowing full well that I am more human— which means I don't tolerate sugar as well as a god, or in the case of my sister; a puppet can."

Kazuha was shocked, he had no clue how deep that would be.

"But, I don't care if you eat desserts around me. I know you don't mean any harm by it."

Kazuha finshed eating. "Mhm ok, thanks for telling me, baby."

"Tch, yeah, yeah, whatever."

They walked upstairs to change.

Kazuha stood outside his room, and let Kuni change in the room with the door closed.
He came out with black shorts and a black tank top.

Kazuha walked in, and undressed right it front of Kuni not thinking much of it.

Kuni wasn't expecting this, and covered his face before running to hide under the covers.

Kazuha giggled when he noticed this. "Whats wrong...like what you see?"

"Ughhh, shut up"

Kazuha walked over to the covers, and got under them.

He pulled Kuni into his embrace.

"You're usually so blunt, and straight forward. I never would've expected you to get this shy around me..."

Kuni rested his head into Kazuha's bare shoulder.
"Yeah, well you get the boyfriend privilege dumbass, now deal with it."

Kazuha laughed, and pulled the covers over both of them.

The feeling of tiredness overwhelmed them, and they fell asleep in each other's arms.

Much later, Beidou and Ningguang returned.

They had to wait for an hour at Kiminami Restaurant, because drunk driving is forbidden in Inazuma.

"Ah! What a lovely festival that was this year."

Ningguang nodded. "Hm, yes. I agree"

"Well, I hope Kazuha had fun with his group, lets go check on him."

They walked upstairs.
Kazuha's dim lights were on in his room.

They quietly walked into his room, and were met with the sight of Kazuha and Kunikuzushi under the covers in each others arms, sleeping peacefully.

Thankfully Kuni's head was covering Kazuha's bare shoulder, didn't need them to get any misunderstandings regarding that.

"Honey look!! They're so cuteee" Beidou whispered as she snapped a picture of them.

"Heh, reminds you of us doesn't it?"

"Yep, sure does."
