"Ugh, let me have some action too next time", Kega said, looking down at the piece of flesh right in front of his eyes.
"Sure", Omoine and Shaku replied.
They all quickly turned their attention to Tarpona, who was already on his deathbed.
"I am already done for", Tarpona said. "Forgive me for lying to everyone".
"No, no, that's fine with us, you cared for us", Shaku replied.
Tarpona closed his eyes and a gentle smile appeared on his face.
"Thank you", he said.
Kara, who was watching his physical state all the time felt no heartbeat or breathing pattern anymore.
"I-I... he... he's g-gone...", Kara sobbed.
Everyone's confident smile was gone. Lena, despite not knowing Tarpona at all started to cry very loudly.
"Hush.. i-it's okay... I-I know it's m-much b-but", Kara said, patting Lena. "S-stay strong".

Suddenly, the hole and bandage in and around Tarpona's body started to light up.
The area started to heat up and melt the bandage. A flash struck down and blinded all the Ruenyas. Everyone heard the same voice, but saw nothing but pure light.
"The soul of five fishes, unified in one body. One phenomenon that is rare to encounter. For one to truly understand the unified tarpons, they must know thyselves", the light said.
Shaku recognised this voice as the one he has heard when he converted from a mud crab to a human.
The light disappeared, and everything was restored back to normal, except for one thing: Tarpona's body was completely gone and only his suit and the bandage remained.
Inside of the suit, there was a strange glowing object that seemed to bear five individual pearls coloured a dark a light blue.
"This is a nice reminder to him, we'll take it with us", Shaku said.
He picked up the object together with his suit and together they walked back home.

Afterwards, they kept on training themselves to honour Tarpona's legacy. Together with Perkins' help they could survive within the human world.
