As we continued on, I was escorted to a nearby room while my parents were whisked away to speak with an unknown figure who seemed to hold authority within the base. Alone in the sterile confines of the room, I couldn't shake the feeling of being a small cog in a much larger machine, swept up in events beyond my control.
But amidst the chaos and uncertainty, one thing became clear: Genosphere held secrets far more dangerous than I could have ever imagined, and my journey was only just beginning.
