85th Hunger Games

I was chosen for the 85th annual Hunger games. My name is Rubin Mellark. I am 16 years old. My parents are the victors of the 75th and 76th Hunger Games. You guessed it my parents are Katniss and Peeta Mellark.

My life is simple enough. I was taught at a young age to hunt and bake by my parents. My best friend is Pheonix Hawthorne, who volunteered as the male tribute when I was reaped. We hunt and walk in the woods together. I can speak my mind about the Capitopl with him.

Back to being put to my death by the maniacs in the Capitol. When I saw my mother's face she was angry and ... sad. Effie Trinket guides me to a room in the Justice Building where I will say my final goodbyes to my family and friends.

The first person I see was my parents ;they told me they would be my mentors.

"Don't worry Princess, I will make sure you are the victor of these twisted games."explains dad, but I'm not listening I am too focused on my fate and how they will kill me.
