20/20 vision

Moving day

Two weeks have passed and I have said goodbyes to my whole family and friends and right now I'm on the plane sitting down excitedly but tried from the long drive..a 9 hour flight here we come! I set up my i took my Sony headphones and device out of my pocket

I was wearing a pink tracksuit with Minnie Mouse on them since they were comfortable and I lay back looking out of the plane as it flew across my home country listening to johnny B. Goode by chuck berry followed others

I eventually fall asleep on the plane from feeling sick and wake up 6 hours later and we only have a couple of hours left and I spend most my time colouring in stuff

3 hours later the plane finally lands and as we're getting off my feet are sore I step out of the plane to feel the heat hits my face it's so different from irelands cold weather and I look around already seeing the city of Bangor in front of me and I smile walking out behind my dad and brother as my mum is behind me with my sister

We make it passed security and stuff and the airport and get in our car (that was shipped over) and we drive out still very tired from the journey but I have slept and feel extremely excited and I look out the window at the sight and we pass the school

My mum speaks up "that's the high school your going to Emma" she smiles

I reply "it looks massive Jesus- how many kids are in there" i watch as it's 3:15 as the kids pour out of school and I look at all the shops and the way the town is built

We make it to our new house and my stomach does flips it looks 10x the size as our old one did. God I love America I jump out of the car and wait on my family to get out and I grab the suitcase off my daddy from the boot of the car and I walk up to the door feeling to warm air hit me I get kinda sweaty

"This shower works right now..right?" I ask smiling

"I'm near sure it would" he says nodding and chuckles

We go inside the house as my mum and dad keep going in and out to put stuff inside as I take a look and have a deep breath at the sight and run upstairs to the bathroom and I nearly gasp at how pretty the bathroom is all marble white and I grab a towel from my suitcase and fiddle with the shower handle til it works and stip jumping in

After my shower I get into lounge wear jump some baggy shorts and a short sleeve baggy top

I walk downstairs to my parents and siblings smiling

"Hellooo"

Once again my sister and brother are being hyper running around the place as I roll my eyes

My mum speaks up "hii Emma! Do you wanna go out to the shops with me to get some food in for this week?"

I grin "YES! Right now?"

My mum nods and I jump and we walk out the door saying byes to my family and I jump in the front seat of the car feeling the heat on the metal of it lifting my legs and bit

We drive out into the town and we park by a shop and my mum gets out of the car as I hop out too and we're walking past this cinema place and I smile

"Damn they even have a cin-" but I'm cut off my this group of kids my age or younger running past in front of us and I gasp and they all stop in there tracks

In look at then awkwardly as they turn around to apologise

A blonde hair boy speaks up
"S-s-sorry about that m-miss my friends and I were j-j-j-just excited"

My mum smiles at the teen boys and girl "it's okay hunny"

I smile at them awkwardly but one caught my eye a ginger haired boy.. and they all walked away as I stared a bit as we walked on I heard his small friend shout a him "RICHIE! Look what you did where gonna get beat up by bowers now UGHH"

Richie huh.. I think to myself and walk on into the shops with my mum feeling the air condition in the fans and smiles
