We stare at each other for a long, awkward moment. Then, Garmadon decides to speak. "La-Lloyd, I've been thinking about something," Garmadon starts.

"...Yeah?" I answer, looking at him nervously.

"Maybe, if you accept of course-"

"Dad, get to the point or I'm taking the weapon."

"Oh, alright. La-Lloyd, do you maybe want to go back to Ninjago, as Father..." I can feel myself starting to smile. "...and General #1?"

"General...#1?" I repeat, disappointment leaking through my voice. Well, it wasn't what I was expecting, but...

The ninja have since gotten up, and have been watching this exchange between me and my father. I look at them, their faces pleading with me to stay with them. I've already made my decision, though. I take a deep breath, and say, "Yes, I will. It would be an honor, Dad."

"Great! Let's get going then!" Garmadon says with a smile, looking down at me.

"Lloyd, no! Come back!" I hear Kai begging me as I walk away. I don't look back. Besides, this is my life now. Leaving those who hate me behind, and starting anew. Garmadon and I hop onto the helicopter and fly away as the Temple collapses behind us. Hopefully they make it out...

"Hah! Those ninja-nerds got what they deserved!" Garmadon gloats. I stay silent, wondering if I should regret my choice. I mean, they were always there, right? Garmadon wasn't, and yet, I decided to leave my friends behind, because of what? Their behavior with the biggest mistake of my life? Actually, I think destroying the city would be second to the one I just made. Too late to change my mind now, I guess.

Garmadon notices my silence. "La-Lloyd? Don't think of 'em, okay? They did you wrong. No one should treat you like that."

"Yeah... you're right, Dad," I say, putting on a smile. "Let's go."
