Sirius loves wearing rings, most of which are silver because they match his style more.
We all know that Remus is a werewolf, and can't touch silver or be around it.
I'm completely convinced that Sirius uses a transfiguration charm to turn all his silver rings tin, just to be able to hold Remus's hand while still being fashionable as ever.
