James went through so many pet names for Lily. There was babe, honey, darling, sweetie, cutie, etc. But none seemed to fit.
He ended up using "sunshine" the most, and it kinda stuck.
Lily wasn't one to use nicknames for others, but when she did she usually called James "hun" or something of that sort.
