The moment Gene Gallagher and Sylvia Greece met, they despised each other.
Their parents had been friends ever since Sylvia had been alive. They would have parties together, hanging out, drinking, thanksgiving. So of course, Gene was there, and so was Sylvia. They were there together, sat at the kids table stuck staring daggers into each other's childlike eyes.
