Zenitsu has transferred to a brand new school, as he was experiencing some bulling from his last school which left him with scars. he was walking into the building, as he did he had spotted a boy with burgundy red hair With a scare on his forehead...
T: hey Zenitsu! I was wondering if I could come over to your house so we could study, you know? Before the big test?
Z: HUH!? WE HAVE A BIG TEST!? I-
Zenitsu then felt a finger on his lips as he knew it was Tanjiro's, as Zenitsu flinched he turned so red
T: yes we do! That's why I wanna come over! So I could help you be prepared!
Z: but what if I fail!????
T: let's just go!
Tanjiro chuckled as he walked next to Zenitsu on the way to Zenitsu's house, Zenitsu blushed at Tanjiro's giggle.
TANJIRO'S POV: As Zenitsu walked me into his house the scent of the house seemed gloomy, I guess with what's happening with them there all really heart broken huh? "Tanjiro this is my room! Come sit down!" I watched as Zenitsu sprinted to his bed patting a spot next to him for me to sit, I blushed at his sudden movement and decided to sit down. "So uh, wanna help me study now?" Zenitsu asked tilting his head. 'Dang he's so cute when he does that' Tanjiro thought. Zenitsu clapped to get Tanjiro's attention until Tanjiro snapped back to reality.
T: "oh sorry! Yea, I'll help you now." I pulled out my notebook so Zenitsu could study.
Z: it's fine! Thanks for helping by the way!
As they sat there in silence Kaigaku burst in.
K: Zenitsu! How come you never told me your boyfriend would be here!?
Tanjiro's face turned really red as he looked over at Zenitsu who was red aswell.
Z: Kaigaku shut up! You annoying brat!
I watched as Zenitsu threw a book at Kaigaku, Kaigaku chuckled before speaking again.
K: anyways, I made a little dish for dinner. Come you two.
T: you made me dinner? But, how? You didn't even know I was here?
K: I heard you guys talking as you walked in, I was mad that Zenitsu didn't tell me but I didn't feel like lecturing him there. Anyways come.
Me, Zenitsu and Kaigaku all walked to the table to sit as Kaigaku served me a plate of food.
T: ah! Thanks Kaigaku!
K: your welcome Tanjiro.
I looked at them and noticed they just ate a small sandwich.
T: uhm, are you gonna eat a little more you guys?..
Z: no! It's fine right Kaigaku! We aren't really hungry!
K: yea..
ZENITSU'S POV:
As we ate Tanjiro asked about our dish and how it was just a small sandwich, I didn't want him to worry but I already knew he already figured out why we ate so little. After we all ate Kaigaku got up to prepare Gramps food.
T: whose food is that for? I asked confused
K: it's my grandfather's food Tanjiro.
ZENITSU'S POV:
I looked over to see a Tanjiro looking guilty for asking. I tapped his hand as he looked at me as I gave him a reassuring smile that it was okay for what he asked Kaigaku. As Kaigaku was making food I heard Gramps couch becoming more faint. I jumped out the chair as I was sweating bullets as I ran to Gramps room. As I slid opened the door I saw Gramps struggling to breath! "GRAMPS! PLEASE! DONT WORRY KAIGAKU IS PREPARING YOUR FOOD! I CAN GET YOU SONE WATER!?" I said crying as tears rolled down my cheeks. Gramps cupped my cheeks as he mumbled something. "Zenitsu. My time has came, please. Take care of yourself and I promise, I'll meet you at the afterlife someday." As Gramps eyes closed slowly. I heard his heartbeat become faint. "GRAMPS PLEASE DONT LEAVE! KAIGAKU!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs as I held Gramps hand.
TANJIRO'S POV:
As I was eating the rest of my food I heard Zenitsu scream, it sounded like he was in agony. How did I not sense this? Maybe the food was to strong, I heard him call Kigaku's name as Kaigaku rushed to the room. I wanted to know what was happening so I walked slowly towards the room sliding open the door. As I opened it fully my eyes widened as my heart dropped. I saw a sobbing Zenitsu screaming into what looked like his Gramp's bedsheets as Kaigaku stood there crying silently. I walked up to them both rubbing their backs. "I... I'm very sorry.." . . . . . . . . I TOLD YOU IT WAS GONNA GET A BIT ANGSTY😏 Anyways, I'll be making a new chapter either later or tomorrow.
