Ying Yueru smiled, "I assume now Lord Hierarchs can understand that Nie Li has the ability to not lead the sect but to even raise it to such a level that had never been precedented in the history of the sect."
The five Hierarchs looked at each other, the answer evident in front of their eyes.
"Nie Li, I just have one question for you. Will you answer it for my curiosity?" Hierarch Linglong smiled and spoke to him.
Jason nodded his head, signaling her to go ahead.
"You're supporting Gu Bei, Long Yuyin, and Li Xingyun because you want their support to be the sect master?"
Jason smiled at her question and shook his head. "No. Actually, I don't even want to be the Sect Master in the first place. I'm accustomed to being free so being the sect master is like taking that away from myself."
Looking at the five of them, Jason spoke. "I learned a basic picture from Ming Fei and Xiao Yu before I ascended to the Draconic Ruins Realm. But when I arrived here, I realized that the sect was in such a precarious situation that at most in one or two centuries, it would completely fall apart."
Sighing, he continued, "The Divine Feathers Sect has too many factions that are competing intensely against each other. Everyone keeps prioritizing their own benefits. Everyone knows that there are a lot of problems inside the Divine Feathers Sect, but they keep competing against each other. If this continues, then the Divine Feathers Sect will definitely fall. One hundred years ago, the Divine Feathers Sects were ranked third among the six major sects. Now, we're at the tail end of that ranking. The most surprising thing is even the higher-ups don't seem to be concerned about it at all. Take you guys for example, what have you all doing to make things right in the sect? Nothing!"
Snorting, he spoke. "The geniuses that joined the sect are getting suppressed to the point that they either become a dog or just drop out. All the resources are monopolized by the three big families. And if that is not enough, the successors of the families are rotten to their cores. Nobody in our generation thinks of the sect, maybe Situ Beiyan does but he alone is not enough. His character is good but he is not strong enough to contend against the likes of Long Tianming."
"When I begin my plan, I only want to support the three of them so they will help me in bringing everyone together, uniting the sect back again. At most, I would have supported Situ Beiyan."
"But since now it has to come to this, then I'll take the position of the sect master," Jason spoke seriously, staring into their eyes.
The five Hierarchs stared at Jason with a solemn expression. Finally, they sighed as Hierarch Skycloud spoke.
"How funny it is that I, who was born and raised in the Divine Feathers Sect, began rejecting the world because of some vexing matters. But, because of that, it seems that I can no longer see the world clearly, certainly not as well as a youth."
Hierarch Dragonblaze nodded his head, his dull eyes lit up with hope. "Long Yuyin, Gu Bei, and Li Xingyun are indeed excellent individuals among the younger generation. They aren't that bad in terms of character, either. If those three can take control of their respective families, then perhaps the Divine Feathers Sect could become united and face the enemy as one. In addition, there are many rising geniuses in recent years; the Divine Feathers Sect may even be able to recover its former glory!"
"Since you're determined to accomplish your goal, then allow me to lend you a hand as well!" Hierarch Crimsonblood spoke sincerely to Jason.
"You're doing everything for the betterment of the sect. So, how can I not support you?" Hierarch Linglong smiled, her eyes hiding a mischievous light. 'He is even close to Ling Yuyin. So if he marries her in the future, then he will be considered a part of the Dragonseal family. Between him and Long Tianming, he is a far better choice. As for Ying Yueru and others, which hero doesn't attract the attention of beauties? Hehe...'
Hierarch Martialsky sighed, looking at the sky. "Since everyone is on the same page, I'll wait for the day of the competition to watch you come on top."
"Thank you for your support, Lord Hierarchs!"
"Oh yeah, what is your cultivation? Why can't we see through it?" Hierarch Martialsky asked curiously.
Jason smiled and released his breath a little, startling the five of them.
"M-Martial Ancestor?!"
The five of them cried out at the same time. But then thinking about the divine elixirs, they calmed down a little.
'A fifteen-year-old Martial Ancestor! Such a terrifying strength! Even though it was like cheating, he has used his own resources, not breaking any rule of the sect. And maybe soon, our sect will have hundreds of Martial Ancestors with the help of his divine elixirs.'
Thinking about such a future, the five of them were excited.
Jason gifted them a few Dao words and a few more divine elixirs before the five of them happily took their leave, planning to go into seclusion.
After they were gone, Jason looked at Ying Yueru. "You bad girl, you even sold your husband so easily."
"Don't be angry." Ying Yueru gave a kiss on his lips, hugging him lovingly. "I'll make up for it to you. And you being the sect master are the best choice for the sect's future."
"Fine. For you, I'll become the sect master for a few years. At most 2-3 decades, but that's it." Jason sighed, feeling troubled by the idea of being the sect master.
"I knew that husband loved me so much." Ying Yueru smiled.
Jason smirked as his hand traveled down to her butt. "Don't think a kiss is enough for the stunt you pulled just now."
Ying Yueru smiled mischievously, whispering. "Then what punishment does the husband have planned for the poor me?"
Jason smiled and made a hand sign, throwing her into the Myriad Miles Rivers and Mountains Painting.
Ying Yueru was caught off guard as she turned into a streak of light. Appearing inside the painting space, she sighed lightly. "Hah! He caught on to my plan of slipping away. Does he really have to be so overly protective?"
Smiling to herself, she murmured. "Hehe... but it has its charms. Let's just hope he will not keep me here for long."
She closed her eyes and decided to cultivate in the meantime.
Jason finishing the things on hand returned to his courtyard where several people had been waiting for him, to get some words from him.
Long Tianming had also sent his henchmen to get some words for free so Jason fooled them with some hoax words that contained nothing but a trace of law energy.
