I got up and got ready to go to school. Me and Rory practically tanked it to the bus station and we went to school. We went our separate ways to lesson, Rory going to some economic thing and me heading over to the art studios.

"Good morning, Miss Bradshaw." I said as I walked inside.

"Good morning Miss Gilmore, I assume your final piece is completed?" Miss Bradshaw asked me in her confusing but beautiful french accent.

"It is." I said, opening my drawers and giving her the final piece.

"Well, Miss Gilmore, I can assure you that this is a new target piece for all of the students here." She said. "Ahem, everyone please gather around. I would like to announce a new piece you will be looking up to, Miss Hilary Gilmore's piece of Love & War & Snow. A very hard but rewarding theme."

Everyone clapped as they saw my piece but stopped and went immediately back to their own, I was the first to hand in a piece so everyone was frantic about the dead-line on theirs.

It was break and I sat in the courtyards, drinking a cup of coffee and checking the messages on my new phone my grandfather had gifted me for my birthday.

"Hey Hilary, it's mom, i didn't catch you this morning and I haven't seen you since you came back from that sleepover at your friends house so please give me a call or see me at the inn because i miss you very very very much."

"Hello, Hilary. It is your grandfather. I hope all is well with you, Rory and Lorelai. I checked the forecast today and I don't think you and Rory should go to Stars Hollow with the conditions we are facing. Your grandmother and I are sending a car for you after school. Goodbye."

I closed my phone, got up and threw my cup in the bin before trying to find Rory. I eventually found her.

"A car is taking us to grandma and grandpas house." I said to her.

"What?" She asked.

"You're going to make me say that all again?" I asked.

"What do you mean 'all'? You only said like ten words." She said.

"Snow storm. Grandparents. Stay the night. What don't you understand?" I huffed as I say down.

"Why are you in a bad mood?" She asked.

"Nothing, just tired and all I wanted was to see mom but now I can't until tomorrow." I groaned as I got my bags for next lesson with Rory.

"The answer is 645, Mr Goodman." I said, sitting back down after writing on the board.

Tristan threw a paper at me and I opened it.

'Wanna hang later?' Then next to it was a poor attempt of a winky face.

I wrote back, 'I can't, having to go to my grandparents cause of a snow storm.'

I threw it over which he caught effortlessly and nodded and turned to the chalkboard.

"Any questions on how we solve x? There shouldn't be because we have gone over this topic four times." He said, going to his desk. "No? Good."

It was the end of the day, i managed to sneak a bagel at lunch into my handbag so I ate that whilst leaving last period, going to the car park.

"Hey Arthur." I said to the driver.

"Good afternoon, Miss Hilary. Miss Rory." He said as he started the car.

We drove to grandma's house which was only a five minute drive and parked outside.

I went inside, hugged my grandma and grandpa before going over to the house phone and calling my mom.

"Hey mom." I said in the phone.

"Hey sweetie? On your way home?" She asked.

"No, me and Rory have to stay at grandmas because the snow storm is too dangerous for anyone to pass." I said. "So, whats the deal are you coming over tonight?"

"No, I guess I'm pretty stuck in the hollow tonight. As you said, pretty dangerous to pass through." She replied.

"Oh, yeah. Right. I forgot." I said.

"Something wrong sweetie?" She asked.

"Well, I kind of wanted to spend today with you and Rory. Snowball fights and hot chocolates at Lukes." I said.

"Hun, we can always do that tomorrow. I will beg the snow to stay again." She replied. "Remember that one time when you were eight when you snuck out the house to cast a spell on the snow? You were freezing for hours." She laughed.

"I'd rather not remember that, or the time where Rory kept falling over on the snowmen we made because she was quote en quote, annoyed she wasn't in-charge of the operation." I laughed.

"Well, it's really nice speaking to you honey, i have to get back to sorting out these bookings, Michel made a huge mess out of these." She said

"Call me if you get lonely?" I asked.

"100 percent. Love you, bye." She said, hanging up the phone.
