I woke up with a post it note on my forehead.

"Gone on a trip! Don't miss us too much!"
My mother scribbled.

I was confused. I called my mother's phone but she must've not had any signal.

I went over to Luke's to ask if he had heard anything but apparently he was clueless too.

"I have to go to Harvard. And I wanted Lorelai to take me." I said

"Surely she wouldn't have left you alone if you planned that." Luke said.

"I didn't tell her. I was going to wake her up early." I said.

He huffed as he walked over to the register.

"I have no plans this weekend. You take my truck I expect it back spick and span." He said.

"Really? Thanks Luke!" I said.

I got home, put all my stuff into the truck and drove to Harvard. Where could mom and Rory be?

I parked in the parking lot and walked over to the reception.

"Hi, Hilary Gilmore checking in for an art day? I'm from Chilton." I said.

"Finally, there were these two girls here pretending to be you." The lady said. She pointed over to my mother and Rory who were sitting by the security guard.

"Ma'am, please don't come any closer." The guard told me.

"It's fine this is my family." I said. "What are you guys doing here?"

"What are you doing here? You have like a reservation and everything!" My mother asked me.

"Headmaster Charleston asked me to come to Harvard for an art lesson. To see how Harvard is considering I could get a scholarship." I said.

"Thats great!" My mother said.

"But what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Rory wanted to see Harvard. Her dream Ivy?" My mother said.

"What about your wedding?" I asked.

"Psh. I didn't want to marry Max." She said. "Listen, can you let us bunk with you?"

"What? I have a one bed accommodation. And I need to try my best, so you guys need to leave." I said.

"What?! We are not leaving, don't be so rude." I said.

"This is Harvard! This is my one chance at an Ivy." I said.

"This is Harvard for me too." Rory said.

"But you can get into anywhere! Why here?" I said. "To stick it in my face that you will be better than me so you have to spend another four years with me at another school? You already are better than me at everything but art in Chilton."

"No- thats not it." She said.

"Please. This weekend has to be the best weekend. If you love me you will go." I said.

I walked over to the reception, got my accommodation keys and left.

I got to my room where there were teens sprung around me. I think a lot of people were here for scholarships.

A boy with beautiful, fluffy black hair was standing with these other boys, talking about soccer and basketball. He had a girl on his hip who was talking to her friends whilst holding his arm. He looked like a jock.

I opened my door, put my bags down and sat on the bed, calling Tristan.

"Hey! How is Harvard?" He asked.
