Candi couldn't take her eyes off the robot tucked away in the corner of Bud's lab. With her perky pigtails and a pink dress adorned with white polka dots, she radiated practicality.
"This is Cynder." Bud explained. "She'll help you with scheduling."
With a gentle tap on Cynder's torso, a touchscreen came to life.
"I've programmed her to know all about our schedules, such as our preferred times for rehearsing, favourite activities and which shows we'll be performing at any given time. She's hooked up to the Butlins app and can not only see show times but also book events, plus she can connect to your phone if you give her permission and send you reminders so you never miss a deadline again."
Candi couldn't hide her excitement. "She's lovely! I'm really excited to work with her!"
Bud returned her smile. Candi had a natural way of making people feel comfortable without even trying. It was a pleasure to do something for her.
