"Why does he spend so much time with everyone else!?"
Vox muttered to himself.

Ever since Vox had left the Vees and became one of the hotel staff members, Alastor had almost seemed to act like the two were friends.

Like, the two had been dating for years and years, decades!
Now Alastor acted as if they were just friends.

Well, at least in front of everyone else.
When they came home and were both alone in their own house, Alastor absolutely showered Vox in love.

And Vox loved that, don't get him wrong, but when absolutely anyone else was around, Alastor completely friend zoned him.

Like, when they were at the hotel, Alastor barely interacted with him.
He always hung out and conversed with the other staff.

Sure, Vox was glad Alastor had connections, but Vox was still his boyfriend!

No one else was aware the two were dating.
It's not like they didn't want to tell people, they just never got around to doing it.

So Vox finally decided to take initiative and do it himself.

It was a calm day at the Hazbin Hotel.
No guests had come by today, per usual.

All of the staff were chilling in the lobby, not having anything else to do.

Some of them were laying on the couch, or over by the bar, or having conversations.

Vox walked over, and sat down next to Alastor.
He was glad Alastor was sitting in a spot that was facing the whole room, so everyone could see the two.

Vox sat relatively close to him, and acted like he was busy on his phone.
Alastor didn't seem to care or notice, he seemed to be reading some book.

Vox just kept scrolling through his phone, then quickly leaned over, grabbed Alastor's chin, pulled him close and gave him a huge kiss on the lips.

Alastor didn't seem to have much of a reaction, he just seemed very calm about it.
He kissed Vox back, then pulled away.

Everyone in the room looked shocked and very confused.

Like, two of the most powerful overlords just kissed then went back to what they were doing like it was nothing.

Angel was the first to talk.
