wildest dreams

brando had invited scarlett and her family over for dinner. apparently his mother has been asking for days since brando had been talking about her to them

she was told one thing

1.) Dress nicely

scarlett ran her hands down her black silk dress that she wore. her mother and father calling for here to get downstairs or else they'll be late

"oh.. scarlett you look gorgeous." her mother spoke in awe as she watched her daughter walk down the stairs carefully in her heels

she smiled "thank you." before they went to their car. her father broke the silence asking "is this boy your boyfriend?" scarlett looked at him through the car mirror

"um.." she spoke as her father shook his head slightly "we're getting there." she said before her mother smiled at her

once they arrived to his house, they knocked on his door. his parents opening the door as they greeted each other

"I'm Madelynn, this is Richard."

"I'm Eleanor, this is Lorenzo."

their mothers greeted one another before scarlett's mom went to brando and his mother went to her

"you are gorgeous, brando has talked about you a lot." his mother replied as she smiled, "thank you, you look stunning. i'm glad you have invited us."

"anytime, would you want to speak to brando before dinner?" she asked as scarlett nodded, letting the two teens run off inside the house so their parents could talk

"you look really beautiful, star."

scarlett turned to him, he looked at her like she was the only girl in the world. she blushed as she looked down at her feet.

"you look really handsome."

he smiled as he pulled out something from his pocket, he handed it to her. "i saw this earlier today, it reminded me of you."

she grabbed the box from him, opening it carefully, scarlett's smile grew bigger as she noticed it was a necklace of a star. with her initials engraved into it. S.F

"brando, thank you. this means a lot to me."

he shrugged as he smiled as well "we should get to the table." he grabbed the gold necklace and walked behind her, she pulled her hair to the side

as he clasped the necklace around her neck, his hands fell to her waist as he kissed her cheek. he looked over at his mother, waving her hand at them so they could follow them to the dining room

she sat across from brando. "so, scarlett. how's school going for you?" richard asked as scarlett took a sip of her water

"it's going well, i have good grades at the moment."

"that's very well, brando could use a little bit of help with some things."

brandos cheeks went bright red as he was embarrassed his parents would out his bad grades in front of her.

"oh! this is perla. she was still getting ready while you arrived." madelynn pointed to the younger girl down the table

she smiled at scarlett "i'm perla." scarlett smiled back at her. "i'm scarlett." before they went back to eating the dinner his family provided

"brandos last girlfriend was wonderful, but she was very obsessive. we just hope you aren't like that." his father spoke

brando looked down the table at his parents. he gave them a look. scarlett looked over at his mother who gave the girl an apologetic smile

before she looked over at his father, she laughed awkwardly "no, no. i'm not." before they continued to talk about other things about the two

standing by the door, scarlett and brando stood next to each other. "i'm sorry for what he said. i just don't think he's really used to another girl.."

she frowned "it's fine." before she walked by her parents, giving all of them a hug as they left his house.

driving back to scarlett's house "the audacity to tell you about his past girlfriend!" her mother spoke angrily as scarlett looked out the window

"mom, it's fine."

her parents sighed as the rest of the car drive wa silent.

scarlett called camilla to tell her about the dinner. "tell me everything!" camilla squealed over the phone as they placed the camera in front of them

scarlett laughed "it went well! until the end?"

"what?"

"okay well, he gave my this necklace." scarlett said as she showed the necklace at the camera, cami smiled as she cheered

"that's the cutest thing ever!"

"but then his father brought up his ex girlfriend. it was just awkward after that. like i realized something."

"yeah i get that it could be awkward. what did you realize?"

scarlett sighed

"every first i'm having with him, he already had with her."
