scarlett walked with camilla in the park, "so you guys hooked up?" cami asked as scarlett sighed, "yeah."

"and?"

"and i don't think he wants me."

cami scoffed "he would be a dumbass to not want you." scarlett laughed a little as she shrugged "he didn't reply to me when i asked what we were."

camilla took a seat on a bench that was next to them, scarlett following her lead as she took a seat as well

"look, the whole point of going last night.."

camilla spoke as scarlett squinted her eyes, waiting for camilla to continue so she could hear what she had to say "hm?"

"was to get you and brando on good terms. it was niccolós idea because he was sick and tired of hearing brando complain."

scarlett furrowed her eyebrows "complain?"

"dude, just shut up and go talk to her." niccoló said as he ate some chips while playing a video game on the couch, brando next to him

"i can't. i already fucked up." brando spoke as he focused on the game they were playing, niccoló groaned as brando beat him

"maybe you shouldn't of asked chiara out in the first place." nico spoke with a hint of annoyance in his voice, brando picking that up as he scoffed

"your only saying that because you want chiara."

"so? you could've literally asked scarlett."

brando ran his hands down his face as he placed his head in his hands, he didn't know what to do anymore, all he knew was he was missing the girl a little to much

"alright listen, i'll get camilla in here- oh! cami!" niccoló yelled over his sister as she gave him a look of confusion before she sat down on the couch with them

"what?"

"well if you can see, brando is a fucking idiot. your best friends with the love of his life. we need to fix everything." niccoló smiled at his plan as cami stifled a laugh

"she already made it clear to me she doesn't want brando anymore."

and with those few words brando groaned even louder as he looked up at camilla "i'll do anything, anything." he spoke

camilla raised her eyebrows in amusement as she laughed "there's a party at this club tonight, wi could get her to go."

niccoló nodded "and she'll get with a guy, you'll get jealous and drag her upstairs and ask her out already." he lightened up as brando and cami gave him a look

"i was thinking maybe she would get the courage to talk to you, if we stayed the night and made you two share a room."

nico and brando looked over at cami, "you know... it can't be awkward silence forever."

"perfect!"

"oh."

"i'm really sorry. i can't deal with you two being upset with each other." cami said as scarlett looked down at her shoes as she moved back a rock

"might hate me a little more... brandos over there." she said as she pointed her finger towards  the lights that lit up a garden of roses

scarlett laughed as she shook her head "i guess i'll have to talk to him?" she said as cami smiled "not if you don't want to."

scarlett got up, walking over to the curly head boy as he pretended not to hear or see her coming towards him, which made her laugh softly

"you can stop pretending you don't see me."

he turned around, a smile growing on his face as they made eye contact. she couldn't help but have a smile on her face too

"scarlett-"

"walk?"

he nodded as they started walking on the path, scarlett looking back at cami who gave her a thumbs up, scarlett shook her head

it was silent for a while. scarlett broke the silence with the question she had been wanting to ask ever since they had their argument

"was it fake?"

he looked over at her, "yeah." he knew what she was talking about, his relationship with chiara.

"i just don't understand.. why?"

he sighed as he couldn't even look at her, she waited patiently for his response, which he was fhankful for

"with the graffiti on the school building, i didn't want anyone to think i was gay. fabio must of gotten the wrong idea when i sold him weed."

"if i was gay, id lose all my friends. so.. to clear my name i asked chiara out. well.. i didn't ask her out."

she looked at him, she was confused "you didn't ask her out?" she asked as he shook his head softly, taking a deep breath as they continued walking

"i blackmailed her. i don't know what i was thinking but i just thought if i threatened her with that she would agree to date me. to clear my name."

"it sounds really bad- i mean it is really bad. but i didn't want to ask you because that's not how i wanted to ask you out."

she smiled lightly "are you good with chiara?" she asked as he nodded "yeah, i apologized once my dad found out about everything."

"why did you lie to me? about wanting us both."

"we weren't on good terms and i knew if i confessed there you wouldn't of felt the same. i know i didn't answer you the night we hooked up, but jesus scarlett. you make it so hard to stay away from you."

they stopped walking, both bodies turned to each other, "i couldn't ask you that night either, it wasn't the right place or time."

"so-"

"scarlett will you be my girlfriend?"

her heart dropped, the question she had been waiting for ever since she told him they could be a secret, she didn't realize she was silent for a while

until brando took a step back, thinking she was rejecting him.

"yes, yes i'll be your girlfriend." she said as he smiled, pulling the girl closer to him as they wrapped their arms around each other

kissing her forehead as they both leaned in to kiss each other, the kiss deepening until they could hear cheering behind them

niccoló and cami celebrating that they finally got together for real, making them both laugh as they held each others hand

enjoying the rest of their night with their friends, and finally being together forever.
