Lilith's pov

My cousin's ceremony ended, and the celebration started. After Talon and Griffin were crowned my mom disappeared. I haven't seen her since. It's been about two hours into the party. It was outside.

"My mom seems to be enjoying her time with Cadell," Kadence says. I look at Lily and see her laughing with her beloved.

"She does," I say, kissing Kadence's head. My eyes stop on two familiar faces. Zazzeran and his younger sister by a year stood away from everyone. Zazz had black shaggy hair. His black eyes with white pupils stood out. Fae had white shoulder length hair and her eyes were the opposite of their brothers. She had white eyes with black pupils. They were both demons. They were in their human forms as they looked around. They were my friends I met in hell.

Their eyes met mine causing them to rush over to me. Fae was faster than her brother, causing me to let go of Kadence and engulf Fae in a hug. Kadence's face had a hurt expression.

"I have missed you so much!" Fae shouted. I let out a laugh before letting her go. I wrap my arms around Zazz.

"How did you guys know where to find me?" I asked.

"Well we got attacked by a group of wolves. We were then presented to the alpha. We told him we didn't know we were on his territory and that we were looking for you. He let us go and told us you were here," Zazz says.

"Yeah Ryland is my friend you were lucky it was him. Not all Alpha's are as forgiving as him," I say. I wrap my arm around Kadence pulling her back into me. "This is Kadence my beloved," I say.

"I'm Zazzeran but you can call me Zazz and this is my sister Fae."

"Who are you guys exactly?" Kadence asked before looking at me.

"This is the friend I was telling you about from hell," I say. Fae was studying Kadence. She leaned closer.

"How do you get your hair so shiny? I'll offer you anything you desire if you tell me," Fae says, stepping towards Kadence.

"Fae," I warn. Fae pulls away from Kadence.

"Guess what?" Fae asked, turning to me.

"You finally learned how to read?" I joked. Fae glared at me before her wings shot out. Zazz jumped out of the way when he got hit by one. Fae turned around showing me her chain. "You finally got in?" I asked, touching her chain. "Oh it's fresh," I mutter before tugging on the chain.

"Ouch!" she shouts. I laugh.

"So what did you do?" I asked.

"You're going to love this," Zazz says. I look at Fae, with a raised eyebrow.

"So after everyone found out about your banishment you became a legend. When it was my time to be initiated I needed to avenge you. Took her other eye. You can get it so you have a matching set if you beat me in a freefall," Fae says, holding the jar out. Brezin shifts. A smirk on my face.

"You got yourself a deal," Brezin says. Fae shifts before handing the jar to her brother. Brezin let go of Kadence.

"What's a free fall?" Kadence asked.

"You can't fly down to the ground. You have to fall and catch yourself before you hit the ground," Fae says before flying into the air. I follow after her. We were high in the air before we stopped.

"One. two. Three. Go!" Fae says. We both stop using our wings causing us to fall. Fae was below me. I smirk as I put my wings away and angle myself towards the ground. I fall faster. I learned a while ago that even though I wasn't using my wings the wind caught some of my feathers causing me to slow down. By getting rid of my wings I fall faster. My wings come out and I catch myself before landing. I laugh when Fae lands after me. Brezin lets me shift back.

"Freefalls may have been your thing but I won this time," I chuckle. Fae shakes her head before handing me the jar.

"I didn't realize you found a way to beat me," Fae grumbled. I laugh.

"Did you really think Brezin would have agreed if she didn't know we could beat you?" I asked. Fae sighs before freezing. Talon appeared next to her. He was sniffing her.

"You're mine," he states with his head tilted. I roll my eyes at him. Fae's demon came out causing her to chuckle. Ari leaned into Talon. Her nose dragged against his neck as she smelled him.

"You would be correct," Ari says. Talon smiled as he peered down at his beloved.

"I'm Talon."

"Ari," she says before shifting back. "Fae," Fae says, her cheeks becoming red. Talon looks at me.

"Get lost," Talon says. I chuckle at him before patting his back.

"I'll see you later. I'm gonna take Kadence home," I say. Griffin walks over. "Make sure you give them a room," I say.

"Fae definitely already has a room," Talon mutters. Griffin rolled his eyes.

"I'll show you to your room," Griffin says. Zazz follows behind Griffin. Kadence and I walk over to Lily and Cadell.

"We are heading home," I say. Lily looks at me. "I'm sure Cadell will take you home if you want to stay longer," I mutter looking at Cadell. He shrugs before nodding.

"Oh I should leave now. I still have to pack for my business trip. I leave early in the morning," Lily says. I nod my head. "It was nice meeting you Cadell," Lily says. Cadell nods his head before watching his beloved walk away. Kadence handed him a napkin with our address and the date and estimated time her mom should be back. Kadence wrote 'surprise her' at the bottom of the napkin. Cadell looks at the napkin before chuckling.

"I'll see you guys soon," Cadell says. I give him a nod. Kadence lets out a tiny squeal as Cadell walks away. Kadence was doing a little happy dance. Cadell looked back at us before chuckling.

"Looks like Cadell isn't the only one happy he found his beloved," I say admiring my happy little beloved. Kadence looked up at me with a bright smile.

"You don't understand Lilith. My mom hasn't been that happy since before her ex mate rejected her. I'm more than happy to see her like that. It hurt seeing her unhappy but trying to act happy around me. Tonight she didn't have to pretend," Kadence says with a frown. I cup her cheek.

"From now on she'll be happy with Cadell. You don't have to see her unhappy," I say, kissing her lips. Kadence smiled before squealing again.

"I know which is why I'm excited. I know exactly how happy you make me and can't wait for my mom to experience that with Cadell," Kadence says, wrapping her arms around me. I chuckle and lift her up. Kadence wrapped her legs around my waist. I carried her all the way to the gate where Lily stood waiting. We parked the car at Rylands pack because that is the closest roads to the palace.
