"I honestly can't believe you Akaashi. First, you cuss out and flip off a famous volleyball player,

then you proceed to follow him on instagram." Kenma snorted, looking at Akaashi, who was stuck in his thoughts, and nudging him with his elbow. Akaashi looked up, sighing as he buried his face into his hands before muttering incoherent words.

"What?" Kenma spoke, trying to pry the words from Akaashis mouth clearly. Akaashi sighed again before meeting Kenma's gaze.

"I also called him a dickwad and told him to get back into his overpriced vehicle... I'm fucking screwed." Akaashi could already see the heading on the newspaper in front of him. 'Akaashi Keiji, sued for harassment against a celebrity.' He felt like he should die. Of all days, why did it have to be today?

"Well, it's not like you'll ever see him again. It's a one in a million chance." Kenma reassured in an attempt to lighten some of the weight upon Akaashi's shoulders. Akaashi scoffed, rolling his eyes before they finally made it to the main campus.

"There's that I guess." He spoke with uncertainty in his voice.

"Well, I'll see ya later. Meet at my place?" Kenma spoke while scrolling on instagram.

"Yeah, sure. See ya later." Akaashi waved Kenma off before dragging a hand over his face and walking away. He brought out his phone, unlocking the screen and entering instagram. As he scrolled, more of Bokuto's feed began to pop up. He groaned out in annoyance and closed out of the app before shutting his phone off and stuffing it into his pocket. It'd blow over eventually.

3:27 pm

Akaashi had finally gotten back to his apartment, unlocking the door and letting himself in. He kicked off his shoes, hanging his coat up at the same time before tossing his keys on the counter and grabbing a bottle of water. Unscrewing the cap, he took out his phone from his back pocket and unlocked it.

Opening up Instagram, he was shocked when his feed was full of Bokuto's posts and fanpages. This couldn't be happening, Akaashi thought. After a little scrolling he took a sip of his water, setting his phone down on the counter and checking the time on the oven. 3:34 pm.

"I should probably head to Kenma's now." Akaashi voiced his thoughts as he sighed, grabbing his keys from the counter and his jacket off the rack beside the door. He knelt down, reaching for his shoes. Slipping them on, he tightened the laces and reached out a hand for his bag. Akaashi stopped for a moment, realizing he'd almost forgotten his phone. Standing up, he stepped toward the counter, grabbing his phone from it and finally turning to leave his apartment.

________________

The roads weren't as crowded compared to this morning which gave Akaashi relief. His phone lit up with a message from Kenma.

One new message from:'Kenma'

Akaashi clicked on the message, having his phone read it to him so he could focus on not crashing.

"Hey, Kuroo invited a friend or two over if that's fine with you. If not, you can just pick me up and we can go somewhere else." Akaashi really didn't feel like hanging out with other people right now so upon hearing the message he answered back by voice to text Kenma.

"I really don't feel like seeing other people so I'll just pop in real quick, say hi to Kuroo and we can go." Akaashi checked for any mistakes on the text, before clicking the send button and taking a right turn onto Kenma's apartment street.

'One new message from: Kenma'

Akaashi figured he'd read it later since he was just down the street.
