I was sitting in the seat next to Scott and Stiles. Stiles and I were helping Scott study. They both think that Derek died but I refuse to believe it. I mean, we thought he was dead once before and we were wrong so It can't be true...right?

St- Yo, Scotty! Hey, yo! Scotty? Still with me?

Sc- Yeah, sorry. Uh, what's the word?

Y/N- "Anachronism."

Sc- Something that exists out of its normal time.

St- Nice! Okay, next word-- "incongruous."

Sc- Uh, can you use it in a sentence?

St- Yes. Yes, I can! It's completely incongruous that we're sitting on a bus right now, on our way to some stupid cross-country meet, after what just happened. Incongruous.

Sc- Out of place, ridiculous, absurd.

St- Perfect. Okay, next word. Um... Darach. 

Y/N- Darach. It's a noun?

St- We have to talk about it sometime, okay? And we're gonna be stuck in this thing for, like, five hours, so why not?...

Y/N- ... Next word... "Intransigent."

Sc- Stubborn, obstinate...

The bus went over some bumps and Scott groaned in pain.

St- Oh, buddy, you okay? We shouldn't have come. I knew it-- we shouldn't have come.

Sc- We had to. There's safety in numbers.

St- Yeah, well, there's also death in numbers, okay? It's called a "massacre." ....Or "bloodbath..."

Y/N- "Carnage..."

St- "Slaughter..."

Y/N- "Butchery...."

St- Wow, that's... 

Scott groaned again in pain.

St- All right, I'm telling Coach that--

Sc- No, no, no, no, I'm all right.

St- Well, you don't look all right! Would you just let me see it?

Sc- I'm okay...

St- Just let me see it, okay?

Sc- Okay...

He lifted his shirt up and his torso was covered in blood and scratches.

St- Oh, dude...

Sc- I know it's bad, but it's because they're from an Alpha-- it'll take longer to heal.

Y/N- How come Boyd and Isaac are fine, then?

Sc- I can't believe he's dead...I can't believe Derek's dead.

Co- The two of you-- back in your seats! Jared, again? Carsick? Every ti-- how do you even get on the bus? Look at me! No, don't look at me! Look at the horizon. Keep your eyes-keep your eyes on the horizon. McCall, not you, too?

Sc- No, Coach, I'm good.

St- Hey, Scott, you're bleeding again. And don't tell me that it's just taking longer to heal, okay? Because I'm pretty sure that "still bleeding" means "not healing," like, at all.

Scott looked over at Ethan.

Sc- He's listening...

St- Is he gonna do something?
