Chapter 19 (Scaping)

A gun suddenly fired towards their directions, law held his little sister lammy shielding her with his own body, looking both scared.

Suddenly a black shadow mist formed and shielded both the kids, you looked pissed for some reason when you looked at the enemies who just fired at you and the kids direction.

"Who are you?! State your name! And don't move!" One of them said with their guns up.

"She doesn't seem to be one of the citizens here" the other guy spoke with also their guns up.

"Me?... Oh, you will know... I've had enough, I've been staying low for the past four years with my little brother, I never get to have much fun... And I think.. this is finally... My chance" you said and started to smile a sinister grin, suddenly you started walking towards them slightly moving your robes away so you can move easily.

"Hey! We already said to don't move!" One of the enemies shouted and all of a sudden they fired their gun at Y/n.

"Miss! Watch out!" Lammy screamed, with law who only looked as terrified and surprised like Lammy, not expecting the woman to try and fight the enemies head on, he's also noticed this dark shadow around them that protected them from the first fire attack of gun.

"Heh~" y/n grinned further her expression looking like she's in pleasure when the enemies head fell to the ground.

The enemies looks confused their eyes wide open when they see their body left- no their heads left their body, A black shadow scythe appeared after the enemies head fell.

"What happened big brother?" Lammy asked inside the darkness that engulf them before they can even see the horrifying scene that y/n did, on the outside it's a large black shadow, a black mist circle that looks like it's just chilling there.

"I'm not sure Lammy but it seems like that lady is protecting us, this black shadow mist? seems to be protecting us too anyways" law said and smiled at Lammy ruffling her head, and reassuring her that everything is fine.

The black sphere that surrounds the two protected them from whatever is happening outside, even though they are inside there is still some kind of light inside that's why law is able to see, ruffle and smile at his little sister.

More enemies started appearing more and more towards y/n, who only smiled but before she can continue with massacring the enemies she turned towards the kids first as the black circle shadow that surrounded the two slowly disappeared only enough to see the kids inside.

"Hey kids, I don't know if I'll be able to protect the two of you but, I suggest you two leave the island" you spoke looking down at them inside the black shadow.

"What? But how about you? You can't fight them all! They might think your like us with an Amber lead disease" law said looking at the woman in front of him while still holding Lammy close.

"Heh, you were on guard and tense just a while ago because of me, now you're getting worried? I'm honoured" you said and started to smile and chuckle.

"Shut up! There's no time for you to laugh like that!" Law said looking annoyed from how carefree the woman is his cheeks slightly red, a gun fire can be heard towards them, but the shadow kept protecting them.

Law also noticed how the woman doesn't seem to get affected by it, it's like it kept disappearing when the bullet was just a about to reach her.

"Here, it's a gift for you.." y/n said as she slowly reach out her hand towards law who looks just as confused while Lammy looks curious.

"What is it?" He said staring at your palm when suddenly I smoke appeared sliddering on her arms when it suddenly transformed into a crow.

Lammy and law looks surprised, the crow is black with smoke like shadow coming out of it, it has some kind of drawing around it's chest that glows a colour of purple along with the crows eyes.

"What is that?" Law asked still on guard as he stared at the bird in front of them "a gift, I'm giving you my pet, this will act as your guardian.. it will come with you until you scape this island with your sister"

"What? Why are you.. helping us" law asked looking at you with suspicion but you can see how scared he also is, you don't blame him since everyone here has been killed and you a stranger who appeared out of nowhere wanted to help them.

"... I can't just leave a kids like you two in here, what you saw... You don't deserve it... And also.. I have my own little brother, seeing you two kind of remind me of him" you said honestly as you smiled.

'Though I think I've only been gone for a few months? Well I guess that's still too long, that kid will kill me if I took to long to come back'

"What about you miss? Let's go with us, we can scape together" Lammy said as she grabbed your hand with her little ones making the crow fly towards law's head who looked surprised but doesn't know what to do.

"Heh, I can't protect you two forever, someone needs to be a bait so no one can chase after you both" you said and smiled Patting the girls small hand, Lammy looks sad but also worried for you even though she's the one who's getting weaker by the minute.

"Your name.." law asked followed by Lammy who also wanted to know your name because you also said that to her that you would tell her your name after you gave her back to her brother.

"Y/n, L/n D. Y/n" you said and smiled
