|no one's pov|

The time ticked by in the silent classroom, the typing of computer keys lulling students to sleep. The professor sat at his desk messing with his camera trying to get the memory card out of it so he could edit his very own photos to use as examples for some of the more incompetent photographers in his class. Kim Taehyung had sat in the back of the class and kept to himself, the boy was strikingly handsome but none of the girls had captured his attention and bored him indefinitely they basically threw themselves at him and gave up quickly after their advances were rejected.

With the passing time the boy was losing his motivation for photography, all the professors assignments were of nature or people, none of which gave him any inspiration. His cheek sat pressed against his left hand propping himself up as he stared at yet another photo he'd taken of a flower, albeit beautiful it didn't show his true potential as a photographer. In fact he thought these assignments made his work look mediocre and lackluster.

"I'm sorry to interrupt! I just wanted to return this ID I'd found on the ground yesterday afternoon..."

The creak of the door and the soft voice had drawn his attention to the front of the classroom. There stood a girl, she was in the year below him and obviously studied a different major but she looked familiar nonetheless. Her jeans flared at the bottom almost covering her dirty white converse, and her black long sleeve shirt clung to her body in the most flattering way he'd ever seen.
His eyes scanned her slowly, taking in every detail and feature. It was almost as if he was trying to burn her image inside of his brain so that he may never forget the person who interrupted the silence of the room.
Her small hands held an ID towards the teacher before she bowed and raced out the door quickly, a light blush covering her cheeks, her scent lingering in the place she once stood which smelled of vanilla and honey.

She corrupted the thoughts of Kim Taehyung so much that he'd raced out of the classroom at the end of the day trying to catch another glimpse of the girl.

He hadn't been able to spot her, not knowing where she'd be exiting the building from or who she'd be with he was at a loss for the day, or so he thought.
Just as he was getting ready to leave he saw her walking out next to a boy, the two of them chatting casually not even noticing the presence of Taehyung as they walked right past him.

His heart clenched at seeing her with another boy, an overwhelming flame of jealousy releasing a wave of anger over him. He didn't even know her name and he had already become so infatuated with the girl from just one look at her, one listen to her melodic voice. He knew he had to have her, he knew she had to be his, she was his new inspiration and she would want him just as badly as he wanted her.

That night he had went home and created a plan, his obsession was growing and she was infecting his mind like honeysuckle.
He would skip his last class and wait to see her leave the building, from there he would follow her to make sure she got home safely. He couldn't have anything happening to her, it was his job to corrupt her mind when the time was right and no one else's, she belonged to him from the moment he'd laid his gaze on her.

Taehyung followed through with his plan the next day. There he was, standing in a secluded spot waiting for her to leave so he could follow.
The final bell rang and students started flooding the halls to exit, if he had timed it correctly yesterday then she'd come out of the classroom a little later than everyone else, as to avoid the crowd.
And so he waited, and unlike yesterday she walked out alone, no boy by her side taking up her time or distracting her with their incessant talking. Taehyung could feel his smirk growing and he silently followed behind her at a slow pace as to not draw attention to his actions. He knew he was hard to miss, his looks always attracted attention to he pulled his hood over his head and kept his gaze low, his camera gripped tightly in his large hands. He had to take smaller steps due to his height in order to maintain a far enough distance between them, though he gazed up once he saw her walk towards the door of a lower level apartment.

Perfect, was the only thought in his mind as he crouched down and positioned his camera to capture a photo of the girls apartment number.
Once he had taken the photo he made his way around the building and looked for any windows, much to his luck he spotted her bedroom window with the curtains wide open.
The room was simple, photos of her and family or friends were displayed in frames on the walls and stuffed animals decorated her unmade bed.
He took a photo of the empty room as well, to study later so he knew exactly where everything was if he ever needed it.

Hours passed and Taehyung had sat outside of the window without being noticed by passing people or the owner of the room he was desperately staring into. He wanted one last look at the girl infecting his mind before he went home for the night but she had yet to make an appearance in her own bedroom.

"I'm going to bed now mom! Yes I promise I'll call you tomorrow after school... I know... I love you too... bye" her voice could be heard from his spot by the window and he quickly focused in on the beautiful being walking into her bedroom. She hadn't noticed anything peculiar as she was too occupied with her phone call to even see the flash of a camera.

He had gotten it, his first photo of her.
The first photograph of his newest obsession...
