Darling dear,
Don't you fear.
There's nothing in the dark.
Sleep my child,
Under the covers,
Where the monsters can't get you.
Even then,
They sit by,
To protect you from the shadows,
That reach out.
So do not pout,
For you are safe,
For you are protected.
Darling dear,
No need to fear.
I'll turn on the lights,
To save you frights.
No more awful nights.
Sleep my dear,
Sleep through the nights.
Sleep through the frights.
Goodnight.
