Meadow was pulling up to his house when he seen a white woman dressed in a blazer, creeping around his house

He squinted, slowing down and seen an all black honda parked along the curb

There was temptation to pull out his gun and shoot her, but he decided to keep on driving past his house while also looking at the lady snooping around

He had a feeling she was a cop, Meadow knew if he didn't slow down all his murders were going to catch up to him

His phone was in the right pocket to his black jeans, so he took it out and called Chance

"I like to drink with Chance because Chance is my mate, I like to drink with Chance because she gets it down in 8...7...6...5...4...3...2....1. Ayeeeee, wooo." He heard as soon as she answer

"Period." Serayah cheered with the rest of the friends, but it was only voice he could recognize

"Adriel, it's your turnnnn." Chance laughed with a big smile on her face as everyone stopped recording her

She picked up her phone and put the phone to her ear. "Hey, boo." She said, the smile tainted her voice

"Wassup, ma. Where you at?" He asked

"Out at brunch, what you doing?"

"Nun." He kept it short and simple

Truth be told, Meadow felt like if he told her about mental disorders and the voices in his head that made him do a lot of the bad he did, she would leave him and never look back, it scared him too much. He was even afraid to tell her about the times he had been sexually assaulted by his mother's two friends

He also told her that his mother died just because he didn't want her to ask why he didn't speak to her. If he had just opened the door to her on his mother's relationship just to slam it her face, he knew it would be an argument or something that Chance wouldn't let go

Meadow was always stoic to things that hurt and affected him, but had a lot of built emotions inside

"You sure? You don't sound sure." She said

"I'm straight, nigga. I'm just finna go to the gas station right quick." He fixed himself

"Hold on, y'all. I'll be back." She spoke to her table and walked to the bathroom to not be rude

"I kinda wanna see." She said, once she was in the handicap stall

"Yeah, I know." He agreed to what she was saying, although he wasn't listening because he was trying to get over and was thinking about the lady at his house

"Where you at?" She asked

"Mhm, ight." He nodded, switching into a different lane

"Bro, what? Alright, Meadow. Call me when you got time for your girlfriend." She rolled her eyes before hanging up on his face
