Chapter fourteen

WIN

As I walked down the school hallway, I could hear whispers and murmurs all around me.

It seemed like everyone was talking about something, and from the sound of things, it was going to be pretty big.

As I moved closer to my locker, I saw that a group of students was huddled around the bulletin board outside of the music room.

I craned my neck to see what all the fuss was about.

They were advertising about the upcoming performance at the Gmm bar in which The Darkest Star would be playing.

Oh, so that's the performance Bright was talking about yesterday.

"Did you hear?" One of them exclaimed, turning to me with a beaming smile.

"We will get to see The Darkest Star!" Another exclaimed, their eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Can you believe it? This is amazing."
"I know, right?"

Wow, I didn't know that The Darkest Star was this popular.

"This performance is going to be huge. I mean, The Darkest Star is one of the most famous bands in this college, and we're going to be watching them."

I decided to ask them something.

"Hey, uh, do you guys do you know the band 2gether 4ever by any chance?" I asked them.

"Huh."
"Do you mean the BL 2gether?"

My smile face turned into a straight face.

I couldn't help but wonder how come the Darkest Stars were more popular than us. We are the ones that won the Gmmt 2022 college band competition, right? How do they not know me? Weird.

"Never mind." I told them and left.

The sound of the hallway grew quieter as I walked towards my locker.

My mind still thinking about the upcoming performance.

Suddenly, I felt a firm grip around my wrist, and before I had time to react, I was pulled against the cold steel of the locker door.

The familiar scent of Bright's perfume filled the air as he leaned in close, his lips just inches away from mine.

"I missed you so much, sweetie," he whispered, his voice laced with love and longing.

I could feel the heat of his body against mine as he pulled me closer, his arm wrapped around my waist.

My heart raced as I looked into his piercing brown eyes, my mind unable to process the sudden turn of events.

Despite my growing apprehension, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of excitement in my chest.

Bright had always had a way of getting under my skin, making me feel things that I never thought possible.

The connection between us was palpable, and I couldn't deny the attraction that I felt towards him.

"What are you doing?" I asked, my voice shaking as I looked up at him.

"I just miss my boyfriend," he replied, his lips brushing against mine.

"I missed you too much. I couldn't stand the thought of going without you any longer."

Despite my desire to resist him, I found myself unable to stop him.

I closed my eyes, letting myself fall into the warmth of his embrace, my arms wrapping around him as well.

"A kiss from you, please." He pleaded.
"Bright, we are still inside."
"But no one is here right now."

I directly looked at him.

"Fine."

As Bright pulled me closer to him, I couldn't help but feel a rush of adrenaline, my heart pumping faster with each passing moment.

A million thoughts raced through my mind, but none of them mattered in that instant.

All that mattered was the moment and the feeling of his lips against mine. It was soft, sweet, and full of promise.

I closed my eyes and let myself sink into the kiss, feeling the warmth of his body against mine.

As we broke apart, I looked up at him, smiling softly.

"SHIA!!" Phuwin and Satang came covering their eyes with hands.

"Mimimi, my baby, I love you so so so much."
"Me too, me too, pancake."
"Heheheheheheheh."

Phuwin and Satang hugged and kissed each other on the cheeks. making fun of us.

However, after Pond and Winny came, looking sharply, they rather stopped.

"You're so careless." Satang gave us a dirty look, "Both of you."

"Shit, how did you all get in here." I asked.

"Did you really think you're the only ones in here?" Pond asked, raising both of his eyebrows.

"Uh.. no..?"

"Well, that's the answer."

"Me and Win were having a good time until you guys came." Bright said in an annoyed tone, hugging me from behind by my waist.

"Such a love birds, ugh." Satang rolled his eyes.

"You act the same when you spend time Winny, Satang." Phuwin argumented.
"No, I don't."
"I saw you two, remember?"
"Damn."

"Where are Chimon and Perth?" I questioned.

"Who knows?" Phuwin shrugged his shoulders.

"They went to a restaurant, or at least that's what Perth posted on instagram." Pond told us.

"Wow." I acted as if I was surprised.

"No, but now really, why are you here?" Bright asked, looking seriously.

"We have a band practice today at five pm, remember?" Pond asked.
"No..?"
"Yeah, that's why we are here."
"Oh."
