Prologue 2: team meeting

whisper, lanolin, duo and aspen were all sitting at the table in their living quarters discussing their next mission even after the whole silver fiasco

lanolin: hey whisper?

whisper: mm?

lanolin: i wanted to apologize for how i acted towards you back when silver was still apart of this team, while i do agree that my actions towards you weren't thought out well i was still defending a teammate you and silver suddenly went out of your ways to harass hence why we had to get rid of silver but nevertheless are you willing to forgive me?

whisper: it...will take some time to heal from that so I'm not sure

lanolin: i understand...

aspen was eating cereal and leaned close to duo to whisper to him

aspen: is it always this tense?

duo: nope this started when silver used to be apart of the team

aspen: ohhhh ok

lanolin eventually turns toward the table to discuss their next mission

lanolin: okay so. as you're both aware we have a mission to go on today and since tangle is currently M.I.A whisper and aspen, your going with me, duo your going to find tangle

duo: aye aye!

aspen: oh sweet! this is like my first mission i think

lanolin: make sure you try your best aspen

aspen: i will!

eventually the trio get up and leave for the door

aspen: bye duo!

duo: bye aspen!

after aspen closes the door, duo shapeshifts back into his original form aka mimic the octopus

mimic: ugh finally can drop this disguise for now and take off these stupid gloves

mimic takes off the gloves and sets on the table

mimic: ugh so cramped...anyways, they told me to look for tangle and I'm going to be sure to find her

mimic pulls out his knife slowly moving it around whilst looking into the blades reflection seeing himself in the reflection

mimic: but they never said in what state...

mimic proceeds to laugh manically as he knows this is another way of messing with whisper and knowing he can get away with this

mimic: but first i got to find her

mimic awkwardly turns back into duo and than slips on the gloves before walking out

lanolin, whisper and aspen are walking through the restoration, lanolin and whisper walking behind whisper as she's walking a little ahead of them
