Death

The way their faces dread,
As if they found the dead.

Lying there I swear I felt the chillest of chills down my spine.

As my breath unwind,

Looking up once last at the sky,

The stars reaching out to me from above

The cold bitting me.

I peek below to see through crimson hue, staining my shirt as I struggle to even move.

While I rest my eyes.

For the very last time.
