I woke up to the cutest baby in the world smiling at me with her big brown eyes. "Morning hun" I mumbled and pulled her closer to me "Lee Lee tired?" She questioned "very, you was up all night wasnt you?" I booped her nose making her giggle and wriggle further down into the covers "what do you wanna do today?"
"Maybe we can go to the park? Or in the pool it's supposed to be warm" I said the last part as a question to myself "I want the park!" She shouted "shhh, it's too early for outside voices. We'll go to the park later. For now let's sleep some more" I closed my eyes
"No I want to go stairs" she sat up and tried to get off the bed "ugh! Come on then" I helped her off the bed and walked her out the room. I knocked on Billie door "breakfast in ten!" I said a little loudly.
"Clara baby sit on the sofa for me" I sat pushing her towards the couch "but I want to help" she pointed up to the kitchen counter "I don't need help but thank you" she nodded and sat down on the couch
She was soon met by Billie "good sleep?" I asked without looking away from the eggs I was mixing "yeah, other than hearing Clara singing to Moana it was a pretty good night" Clara can't stop singing for her life.
"Yeah get used to that, we're going to the park later on if you wanna come?" I poured the eggs into the pan and began to scramble them "uhh yeah sure, as long as it's ok with miss girl over here" I looked over and sat Clara giving Billie a dirty look
"Clara why you doing her like that?" I laughed "she mean"
"No she's not she's nice, but your singing is quite annoying at night" Clara hid her face into the couch pillows "don't me sad, but maybe you should go to sleep when I tell you too" Clara shook her head and started crying
"Someone's tired" I laughed "I not tired!" She shouted "Clara inside voices please" the key to a crying Clara is too keep calm otherwise she gets even more angry and sad or whatever. "No!" Billie looked over to me trying her hardest not to laugh.
Two year olds are soooo sassy and shit it's unbelievable. My sister doesn't help with it because she loves it but I think it's just a little bratty
After I had plated everyone's food I picked Clara up and sat her on my lap "Clara, why are we crying?"
Tip1- break down the problem Tip2- analyse the situation Tip3-if that doesn't work just give her a lollipop
"You say I'm tired. I'm not" she sobbed "it's ok to be tired but if you don't wanna be tired you need to listen and go to bed when I said"
"Your really good at this stuff" I heard Billie say just above a whisper "thank you, I've just always been good with kids I guess" she smiled softly to me before I turned back to Clara who was rubbing her eyes "do you want to go back to bed for a little bit and then we will go straight to the park when you wake up?"
She nodded slowly then leaned her head into my chest "let's go then" I took her back up to my room and laid her under the duvet.

"She's back to sleep already, sorry about her little meltdown" I giggled "don't worry she's still a baby it happens" I sat down next to Billie and leaned my head in her shoulder "I really don't wanna go to the park man, but ya know gotta do it for her"
"Why don't we just stay in I'm sure she won't mind"
"She will literally through hands, the other week I said she wasn't allowed to sit in the trunk while I drive and she started to kick me and then threw her water at me soooo. But she's getting better and toning it down because after that I really told her off, her mom might stand for it but I don't" Billie played with my hair while I spoke. It was very calming
"Yeah let's go to the park so that doesn't happen to both of us this time" she laughed and took her hand away "hey I was liking that" she put her hand back on my scalp and continued the soft hand movements.
We laid like that for a long time, watching tv and talking before Lena heard her name being called by a small voice
"Lee Lee" I heard "she's awake, I'll be back" I got up of the couch and walked up stairs
"Good afternoon baby. Nice sleep?" Clara rubbed her eyes and nodded "do you wanna eat first or go to the park and eat there?" I picked her up and started to walk with her down the stairs "we have a nic-nic?"
"Yes we can have a picnic, does that mean you wanna eat there?" Clara nodded and put her head on Lena's shoulder
"Say 'hi Billie" I said to Clara pointing to Billie "hi bee bee" why is she sooooo cute "hello Clara" I put Clara on the floor so I could get all the food ready for our picnic
"Bil, we're going for a picnic at the park. So could you get the blanket out of the closet over there" Billie nodded and got up off the couch
"Lee Lee, I want" she made grabby hands to me "what do you want?"
"Cheese!" I nodded and gave her a cheese string "more, more" she made the hand sign for more.

"Ok only a little bit" I cut up the other half of the cheese string that I was eating. "Dee doo" that's how she says thank you
30 minutes later
"Clara go shwing!" Clara dragged me by my finger over to the swings "wait for Billie" I said pointing to Billie who was bringing all the stuff from the car out to where we was gonna sit
Once Billie caught up to us we started walking back to the swings
"Higher" Clara shouted "only a little bit" I increased my strength only a little bit because I'm not about to send this kid flying
"You guys are such a cute family" an older woman said to me "oh we're not- this is my niece and my friend" I laughed awkwardly "oh well, if you was a family you would be the cutest" she gave me a smile before walking away.
