I never really saw Oliver and zip study, so I have a theory that Oliver's basically granted immunity because he's the only reason Alice is still kinda-ish sane. So if Ms. Circle or any other teachers were to kill him or zip. Alice would destroy them. Because even they tell the kids to never go into Alice's room.
