Failed Again

All Zac could think about was getting to Fatima and Trey. We he got the call from Fatima he dropped everything.

Zac was speeding passing every light trying to get home. When the call disconnected he called the police

When Zac got to his place police cars were every where

Zac barely parked the car before jumping out of it

The police had everything blocked off

Zac ran to the front

Officer: Sir you must wait out here

Zac: My family is in there pushing past the officer

Zac seen a body laying under the sheet and panicked

Yelling Fatima

Trey came running from the kitchen running to Zacs arms

Trey: The bad man hurt Fatima

Zac went into he kitchen and seen that Fatima was getting checked out by the EMT

Zac ran up to Fatima hugging her tight

Zac: I'm so sorry I thought I lost you

Fatima: I am okay the bullet just grazed my arm they got me patched up

Zac couldn't stop hugging Fatima

The police officer came over to Zac

Police: Can you see if you can identify this man

Zac: Sure

The police removed the sheet and it was Brandon

Zac: His name is Brandon he use to work for me I fired him almost a year ago

Police: Do you know why he would come after you and your family 

Zac: Not sure I haven't had any contact with him since then

Police: Well we took your wife's statement If we need anything else we will reach out

Zac: Thank you so much

Everyone cleared out

Zac boarded up the back door window for now

Zac : You know who I thought it was when you called me

Fatima: Who

Zac: My ex Kia crazy ass

Fatima: I'm sure her crazy ass lurking around here somewhere I wouldn't pass that it was her in the park the other day

Zac: Now that you say that you're probably right

I'm glad I got you that gun

Fatima: Me too, straight shots kill shots

Zac: I see practice paid off

Fatima: I ain't gone lie though my ass was scared as hell. This is really the second person that I killed

Zac: You were protecting yourself and Trey

Fatima: I know

Zac: Did he see anything happen

Fatima: No I put him in the closet and told him not to come out until I come back for him. He listened

I made sure the body was covered up and everything

Zac: Good I don't need him having nightmares or being traumatized. I am glad you both are okay I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if something happened to either of you
