One sided jahnnie?
Jake and johnnie are in a party for one of their friends
They were practically glued together the whole time
That's until jake wanted to go to the bathroom
"Johnnie I'm ganna go to the bathroom ok ?"
"Yeah go ahead I'm ganna be at the bar cause I want another drink " moments later the two were walking separate ways
As johnnie was about to order a drink a guy approach him "hey can I buy you drink? "
"yeah , thanks " johnnie gave the tall guy a warm smile the guy was not bad
he looked like he's over 6 feet tall he had green eyes and brown hair it wasn't long, but it wasn't short either
The guy introduced himself to johnnie and they began talking "honestly I'm glad you got that as me flirting because I don't really know how to hit on boys "
"Yeah I mean why else would you buy me a drink? To be nice?"
The both laughed and were clearly having a good time talking to each other and very clearly flirting cause of the way johnnie's cheeks were a light shade of pink
but on the other hand jake was watching the two from afar
It was like his eyes were glued to them to how johnnie is laughing and happily flirting with the guy he felt like someone grabbed his heart and stepped on it
seeing his crush talking to another guy and blushing no one knew about his crush on johnnie cause he was never brave enough to tell anyone he knew johnnie didn't like him so what's the point?
He was still looking at the two when they started sharing numbers
He started walking up to them in kind of a hurry
He reached the two and tried to put a smile on his face
"Oh hey jake what took you so long?" Johnnie gave jake a smile "nothing just talked to an old friend" he lied
"ok well jake this is Noah , Noah this is Jake " johnnie smiled introducing them to each other Noah smiled at Jake offering him his hand
They shook hands
The guy whispered something in johnnie's ear which only made jake more upset
Johnnie nodded and the guy left
Johnnie looked at jake noticing how upset he looked "hey is everything okay did something happen?" johnnie looked at Jake with concern in his eyes "nope I'm totally fine can we just leave now? "
"are you sure you're okay ? you don't usually leave parties early "
"I'm ok just tired " jake lied again "ok "
They were in the car when johnnie got a text
He was texting someone giggling and smiling at his phone while texting the person "who are you texting?"
" just the guy from earlier"
Jake looked visibly annoyed rolling his eyes
johnnie noticed Jake's reaction "don't worry I won't replace you even if I got a boyfriend "
johnnie was trying to reassure his friend by making a joke about it he putted his phone in his pocket looking at jake "that's not what I'm worried about " jake mumbled "what?" Johnnie couldn't hear jake clearly
"nothing " jake tried to brush it off like he didn't say anything "you don't feel uncomfortable with me having a boyfriend right?" Johnnie seemed confused "no of course not why would I "
"I don't know you just seem mad about me talking to him ,you know this might be just like a one time thing I don't really like him yet " johnnie was trying to explain the whole situation to jake "really?" Jake seemed really happy about it possibly being a one time thing "wow you don't want me to date someone that bad ?" Johnnie laughed"but yes I kinda like someone else and I told him that " johnnie added "oh? Well who do you like? " johnnie shrugged and smiled "well do they like you?" Jake was curious but at the same time he wished that it'd be him "I don't know yet " johnnie felt like Jake might like him back because of the way he acted but after all he's straight "well whoever they are they're really fucking lucky " jake whispered to himself "you really think so?" "what?" Jake didn't think Johnnie would hear what he said "you really think they're lucky?" Johnnie explained "didn't release you'd hear that" jake was embarrassed "you didn't answer me" johnnie asked again jake just shrugged "well I don't think you'd say that if you know who they are " johnnie said "how do you know that?, tell me who it is and I'll tell you if they're lucky or not "
"I'll tell you when we get home "
"ok"
Johnnie opened the front door jake following closely behind him
Johnnie dropped on the couch throwing his phone next to him jake sat beside him "we're home now tell me " jake was half expecting johnnie to say someone else but he still had hope "why do you wanna know so bad ?"
"just tell meeee" "I'm too embarrassed to say it "johnnie looked at jake "well I like someone too " "oh who's the lucky girl?" Johnnie asked "guy" jake corrected him "what?" Johnnie was surprised "it's not a girl it's a guy " jake explained "jake are you coming out to me right now?"
"I guess but that's not really my point "
" but you've always said you're straight "
"yeah well I'm bi now and it's your fault " jake said "huh ? How is it- oh OH " johnnie released what jake meant then sat up straight
for a couple of seconds they just looked at each other nether of them knowing what to say till johnnie broke the silence "the guy that you like is me?" He asks knowing the answer
Jake was worried that he would lose his best friend over his crush "look if you don't like me back it's fine I can get over it but can we just not let it ruin our friendsh-" jake got cut off "jake, I like you too " "really?" johnnie giggled "yeah "
Jake smiled at him
they stared at each other for a moment
Jake looked at johnnie's lips "can I kiss you?" He asked their faces now inches away from each other "mhm " johnnie hummed
Half an hour later the two men are cuddling and talking
"Soo what are you ganna do about that guy?"
"You mean Noah?"
"Yeah "
"I don't really know but he is a nice guy I still wanna be friends with him "
"Oh yeah?"
"Mhm , pretty sure you'd like him too if you actually talked to him "
"I don't really wanna be friends with the guy that was hitting on my boyfriend " jake laughed
"Well I wasn't your boyfriend and I'm sure he'd be happy for us " Johnnie smiled and looked up at him
"Yeah sure " jake kissed Johnnie's head then smiled back at his boyfriend
"You know I should tell tara"
"Why tara?" Johnnie laughed
"She talked about us being a great couple and she says that's it's painfully obvious that I like you even tho I've never told her that sooo she kinda called it " jake chuckled
"Well let's tell her then "
Jake called tara (video chat) only showing his face so she couldn't see johnnie
"Hey tara" jake smiled "HEY JAKE " Tara smiled back at him "I wanna tell you something , you're ganna be shocked "
"Ooooo ok what is it ?"
"You know when you said I like johnnie ?"
"Yeah that doesn't shock me or anyone honestly "she chuckled
"Let me continue "
"Ok "
"Soooo I do like him anddd "
"Andd??"
Jake lifted up his phone showing both him and johnnie
Johnnie smiled at her
"I told him, he likes me back "
"OH MY GOD THAT'S SOO CUTE , congrats guys took you long enough " she laughed
"Thanks tara , honestly I was TERRIFIED that I'd ruin our friendship but I didn't "
"I'm proud of you jake, how long have you guys been together? "
"About 50 minutes" johnnie laughed
"awww I'm the first person you told?"
"Yeah , jake said you called it "
"I did " she laughed
"Well congrats guys and it's really late soo I'm ganna go to sleep cyaa "

"Jake we should probably go to sleep too "
"Wanna sleep at my room?"
