Third pov

As soon as the venchittis pulled up to the front of the ball cameras were flashing the family was simply beautiful Grey walked in with her arm linked with David and the three other men stood behind her

They all walked up the steps to the stage where the seats were fitted for kings and sat which Kendrick grabbed the mic and made a announcement

"I wanted to give thanks to everyone who has come out friends family I called this ball because a very special person in our family is now 18 and I know she deserves this so without embarrassing her to much ill hand the mic to my son Lucien"

"Hello everyone like my father said before me were here to celebrate our mini mama make sure to keep your eyes and hands off that's all"

He handed the mic to Xavier

"To mini mama and here's to making our family feel whole again we're only as strong because this woman has made us strong"

Than David grabbed the microphone

"I just want you all to love my mama as much as I love her but remember she is mine and we don't need anyone love you mama"

Grey stood up and hugged each one of the guys with tears in her eyes the love that they held for her was all she needed she didn't need a big party but knowing that they thought this much about her to do so made her cry even more

They made there way down the steps and the music started playing and everyone was mingling men tried to get close but David stuck to her like glue not letting them

After 45 minutes the door open and another family arrived not really caring about who it was she continued chatting with a nice  girl named lilac when she started hearing whispering around her saying she looked like someone's twin

Ignoring it Kendrick made his way towards her asking her how she's feeling when she felt a presence pull behind them "Vencettti" she turned around not believing after almost 12 years she's hearing the voice of her father again

She faced him and kept a still face no smile no nothing just a blank face Kendrick not having a clue why the vibe just shifted nodded at lockwell but lockwell was staring at grey "gre. yy is is that really you.."

He went to go in for a hug but she backed away and spoke "I'm sorry sir you must have the wrong person" she tried to walk away but he grabbed her arm and kept telling her they thought she was dead

Still giving no reaction he turned still holding her wrist calling over his family as Kendrick looked on as lockwell came forward he looked at his daughter and back at his friends  daughter having never seen her but now looking at her she looked like a carbon copy of his chipmunk

He looked back at chipmunk and seen her staring at her carbon copy than heard her mutter "ggracciee" the girl whipped her head up running towards her and than embraced her

Chipmunk kept saying I thought you died your alive your real while the other one kept saying the same thing David came rushing forward
"Mineeeeee" chipmunk laughed and crouched down with tears in her eyes "this is mamas sister baby she's my twin remember how I said I got nix from someone she's that someone" Gracie nodded

They both stood back up and wiped their tears and chipmunk spoke "sister this is my family this is my papa Kendrick this is my baby David and the other two boys are around somewhere" Gracie nodded happily but than frowned than spoke "Grey this is your papa were your family were blood though"

She shook her head and said "blood doesn't make you family loyalty and trust does" Gracie put her head down and went back by her fathers side and said "if he's not your papa and our brothers aren't your family than I'm not your sister"

Everyone watched Grey's face go from smiling to blank again than she spoke in the coldest tone "well Gracie lockwell I guess this is farewell I'm happy to have known your alive and well cmon papa and David we have other important guest to greet"

And she walked away never once turning back to the family that betrayed her
