I think that these are the ugliest fish demons I've seen in my life. I've killed at least 20 of them that have invaded the village but no sign of the uppermoon demons 

Following deeper into the forest, I sense a vibration. And then loud ear-pitching screams that make me cover my ears. Figuring out that that has to be where at least one of the uppermoon demons were, I followed quickly in case anyone needed my help

As I got there, I quickly saw the situation and had already jumped into action. I sliced the demon's head in half before it could hit Tanjiro with another ear-piercing scream 

"Y/N-SAN!" He yelled at me 

"What the hell happened? I finally get here and the village is being attacked?!" I yelled 

"Nezuko and Genya are all by themselves! And this demon separated into 4 different bodies! slicing off their head is not going to do anything!" He said, catching me by surprise 

Well, it is no secret the uppermoon demons are much more complicated, but one that doesn't get killed by slicing off his neck? There must be something else that's going on here, clearly there has to be an answer to why he isn't dying the was all demons die, by a slice to the neck I thought 

"So you're the interesting one! Do you like my talons? They're razor sharp! And can cut though diamonds!" The demon said, as he quickly used his speed to cut Tanjiro, causing him to sink to the floor, leaving me concerned 

Quickly moving Tanjiro out of the way, I managed to avoid the demon's talons slicing the both of us. Quickly moving, I set Tanjiro down and started to fight the demon. Using Hinokami kagura: First form, I was able to get the demon a distance from Tanjiro, slowly moving him from the field of battle. Once he was out of the way, I went ahead and started to learn about the demon through his fighting movements

Through observation, I discovered that when his tongue is cut, he regenerates slowly and his power becomes weaker. He's very light, so he could possibly be controlled if I can figure out how. I didn't get any cuts since he was a good distance but I realized I needed to get close if I were to actually start making progress in figuring out what is going on

Using my special sight, I was able to detect some type of fighting and knew where I needed this soon to be dead parrot to fly. Getting close to him and sacrificing my left arm, I stabbed the demon though his neck, and slicing his tongue. Not removing my sword, he started to fly in hopes of getting me off. Using that to my advantage, I tilted my sword enough to steer him in the direction i wanted to go, ignoring the pain in my arm from his talon sinking into my arm in an attempt of retaliation

When we got to the place of the fighting, we crashed into the building, completely grabbing everyone's attention as I was riding a demon while he was trying to kill me

"Y/n! Use a body part of that flying demon! They can't hurt their other bodies!" Tanjiro said, currently fighting against the angry demon 

Without missing a beat, I sliced both wings off of the demon and kicked him off of the building, watching his body crashing onto the floor below us. With Tanjiro's statement proving correct, I was able to withstand the attacks of both the blue and red demon. I started to work with the two siblings, quickly cornering the demons that were attacking us

Right when I was about to slash their tongues out, I felt a presence behind me. Before I could have reacted, a strong pressure knocked us to the first floor with a harsh thud on the ground. It hurt a bit, but I quickly got back up, only to see the two siblings on the ground unconscious

"I cant wait to have fun with these delicious meals!" One of them said as they grinned at us

How the hell do I fight with two people unconscious? I have to be able to protect and attack without sustaining further injury on myself or Tanjiro and Nezuko. But I can't think negatively, I'm a Hashira for fucks sake! I'll do this 

Gripping my sword in my hand, I jumped to where the demons were, making a slash that forced them to fall back. I was going to force them back as much as I can so that Tanjiro and Nezuko can rest and soon be ready for fight if necessary. It won't be necessary though. 

Making sure all 3 demons were away from the two siblings, I started to fight, avoiding the powerful attacks that came my way while countering with powerful attacks myself. I kept slashing at their tongues to weaken them and now they seemed to be in the defense, avoiding me and barely attacking 

I could tell the demons were absolutely pissed, they were yelling on how nobody could get a finger on me and started blaming each other. Feeling another two life forces moving my way, I could tell that Tanjiro and Nezuko were on their way to the fight. Not that they were much of a fight to me anyways

As Tanjiro ran into battle, I saw his sword on fire, and it turned the blade red. A small smile crept onto my face knowing that a red blade makes demons heal very slow. For a moment, I saw a bit on confusion and fear in the demon's eyes, it made me chuckle quietly, knowing that the roles were reversed. Demons were now becoming afraid of humans because of how far we advanced with our breathing techniques 

As he slashed all three of the demon's heads, I felt a sense of proudness for the boy I was somewhat training. I clapped and he smiled at me before turning serious

"Genya is still out there with one of the demons! And he isn't able to use a breathing technique!" He has a gun, and I don't know how long that can hold him!" Tanjiro said, running towards the direction I guess Genya was in 

As we were running, I realized that I had never really taken the time to get to know the other brother of the Shinagawa family. All I knew was that Sanemi was really harsh on him about being a demon slayer

Arriving at the location of Genya, I took in his muscle and structure. The two brothers had amazing height genes. I can determine that he is strong but there is something that is different about him, I just can't put my finger on it yet

Either way, nobody is dying on my watch today, I am the sun pillar, and I will protect everyone even at the cost of my own life. But I must keep the mindset of victory and remind myself that I have someone that I want to come back to; now that I got the sappy thinking out of my head, 

Let's kick some demon ass.
