Hi and hello everybody This is your maya writing,
I am posting this to honour the people who died in Korea because of a cruise tragedy (Sewol Ferry tragedy)
I saw about this last year when I heard and researched about this fully, and when I was scrolling today I came across a reel which was related to this. Then only I remembered this tragedy was today
Note, I have watched about this a year back. And whatever I am writing might not ba a hundred percent true, I am writing what I remember cuz I don't really want to cry today,. I mean one video about it was able to make my eyes wet so i dont want to even try
A good amount of years back there was cruise which started sailing, it had goods, tourists and mainly students sice it was a trip for them
Most of them were students only I think and everything was going fine until the breakfast, everyone was eating food and stuff and the see that like the food is tilted and stuff, they laughed about it and thought it wasn't a big deal
Soon after they were instructed ro wear their life jackets and stay where the were while the BOAT WAS SINKING, water gushed in like it's not a situation to imagine, it's terrifying. People are supposedly standing on luggage and stuff
Do you know what the sailor did (the person who drives the boat I think), he announced everyone to stay where they are and dont go out, lock the doors nd that kinda stuff.....
Like there are full damn videos and footages of the students who are inside who are scared like they are shacking out of fear, calling their parents, they all are very anxious but thinking back they couldn't have done anything. I don't think most of them knew how to get out so they had to listen to professionals
The sailor escaped to be alive and just told the rest of them to stay where they were to literally die
I don't thing there was many survivers like three fourth died as far as I remember
Even the damn rescue team was delayed and i think 5 or 6 passengers are still missing till today
After the late arrival they were able to help only a few survive and the minute they step on land they are bombarted with midea
THE JUST HAD A NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE WHEN THESE REPORTERS WERE SHOVING THE CAMERA AND MIC ON THEIR FACE
I.... I just can't imagine like imagine loosing a friend or..... I just can't
I still remember a story of a couple
Okay so there was (high school) couple who were also stuck, there was only one lifejacket, the boy put his jacket around her
They both tied..... Tied a string on each of their wrist..... To avoid drifting apart

Like imagine being a parent and telling you child to have a fun and safe trip and see about the boat tragedy on TV or the school informing you about this
Like...... It's just sad
All the dreams which were shattered, all the wishes which was not fullfilled
All because of a selfish sailor
And I don't even think he got a big punishment
They all thought the were having fun but.... It all turned into a tragedy and death in the end
Writing this only made me tear up, I.. Just can't imagine...... like the panic the rush the anxiety
The untold stories
I think there was many video footage of what was happening inside from the survivors and lost ones phone which is just painful. Like I think there was few where they were telling goodbye and stuff.... It's..... Words can't describe
I can't even imagine the parents situation
This happened lots of years back, for us it's a sad story and for the survivors it's a trama
And also I wanted to do a special mention

That's a big initiative took from them and as a fan (I am not an army, but do respect them) I bow down, it's such a kind gesture
