|Ashes|
I met you as a coincidence
Stayed with you by choice
For understanding was what I craved
And you became my voiceSlowly You became my home
Now I knew what home felt like
So it was harder to give away
I tried my best to stay quietI Crumbled the ashes of home
Burnt the wandering remains
For Home wasn't were I lived
Now with you my heart stayedI thought it would last forever
Forever' until the end
The way every flower rott's
When it has got no stemThe thing that used to feel like home
Slowly turned into a cage
I sat trapped in there
Hoping things would changeI held onto that rope
Until the rope turned red
Now blood was all I could see
He never saw how bad I bledFinally I had to let go...
For I wasn't meant for boundaries
I wasn't meant to stay in lane
I stepped out to find a world
Where ashes were all that remained~
