As Mia, Jack, Sarah, and Alex stood in awe before the golden artifacts, a sense of excitement filled the chamber. The flickering torchlight danced off the gleaming surfaces, casting long shadows that seemed to stretch and twist around them.

But as they reached out to touch the treasures before them, a deep rumbling echoed through the chamber, sending shivers down their spines. The air grew heavy with anticipation, and a sense of foreboding settled over the group like a suffocating blanket.

"What... what was that?" Sarah whispered, her voice barely audible over the sound of their racing hearts.

Jack's brow furrowed in concern as he scanned the chamber for any signs of danger. "I don't know," he replied, his voice tense with apprehension. "But we need to be careful. Something doesn't feel right."

Mia's stomach churned with unease as she studied the artifacts before her. "Do you think... do you think we've triggered some kind of trap?"

Before anyone could respond, a blinding light filled the chamber, illuminating the ancient carvings on the walls with an eerie glow. Mia shielded her eyes against the brightness, her heart pounding in her chest as a sense of dread washed over her.

And then, as suddenly as it had appeared, the light vanished, leaving the chamber cloaked in darkness once more. Mia's heart raced as she looked around, her senses on high alert for any signs of danger.

But as she scanned the chamber, her eyes widened in horror. The artifacts before her had begun to move, their golden surfaces twisting and contorting as if possessed by some unseen force.

"What... what's happening?" Alex cried, his voice filled with panic.

But before anyone could answer, the ground beneath them began to tremble, sending shockwaves rippling through the chamber. Dust and debris rained down from the ceiling as the walls seemed to close in around them, trapping them in a prison of stone and darkness.

"We need to get out of here, now!" Jack shouted, his voice barely audible over the deafening roar of crumbling stone.

With adrenaline coursing through their veins, Mia, Jack, Sarah, and Alex sprinted towards the exit, their hearts pounding in their chests as they narrowly avoided falling debris. But as they reached the sealed entrance of the temple, they came to a horrifying realization.

"We're trapped," Sarah whispered, her voice filled with despair. "There's no way out."

Mia's mind raced with possibilities as she studied the sealed entrance before her. "There has to be another way," she said, her voice tinged with desperation. "We can't give up now."

But as they searched frantically for another exit, the chamber continued to collapse around them, the walls closing in with each passing moment. With nowhere left to run, Mia and her friends huddled together, their hearts heavy with fear and uncertainty.

And as the darkness enveloped them, they knew that they had unleashed something far more dangerous than they could have ever imagined. In that moment, they realized that they were not just trapped in a crumbling temple but in the clutches of a curse that had been lying dormant for centuries, waiting to be unleashed upon the world.
