TAEHYUNG's POV

Ah, man, let me tell you, these past three months have been like a rollercoaster ride through a maze filled with pitfalls and banana peels. Why? Well, let me break it down for you. It's not just the collab that's stressing me out, oh no. It's the dynamic duo of Y/N and Jimin, making my life feel like a sitcom gone wrong.

First off, let me just say, coordinating schedules with Y/N and the whole BTS crew is like trying to herd cats during a thunderstorm – impossible and downright chaotic. I mean, we're all busy with our own stuff – albums, dramas, concerts – you name it, we're doing it. So trying to find a time when we can all get together and work on this collab? Yeah, good luck with that.

But you know what's even more stressful? Y/N and Jimin. Those two are like a pair of magnets with the wrong poles – repelling each other at every turn. And let me tell you, it's exhausting trying to play mediator between them. They can't talk to each other without it turning into a cringe-worthy mess, and don't even get me started on the awkward silences.

I swear, it's like they were perfectly fine until that cursed Hawaii vacation. Something must have happened there to make things go all wonky between them. But whatever it is, they're dragging me into the middle of it, like I'm some kind of referee in a boxing match between two overly dramatic toddlers.

And let me tell you, if Jimin calls me to the left, then Y/N calls me to the right, and I'm stuck in the middle like a deer caught in headlights. Where do I go? What do I do? It's like being pulled in a thousand different directions, and frankly, I'm ready to pack my bags and head back to Daegu, where at least things make a little more sense.

As Y/N sat there, scribbling away at her notebook, I couldn't help but marvel at her focus. She was in her element, lost in a world of words and melodies, completely oblivious to the chaos unfolding around her. Meanwhile, Jimin had dashed out to grab some coffee, leaving the rest of us to carry on with our work.

But when he returned, everything changed. The atmosphere shifted, like a storm brewing on the horizon. Jimin froze in the doorway, his eyes locking onto Y/N with a look of utter bewilderment. And I swear, for a moment there, time stood still.

Their eyes met, and it was like a spark igniting between them, setting off a chain reaction of awkwardness and tension. Jimin's face turned as red as a tomato, and Y/N looked like she had seen a ghost. They stood there, rooted to the spot, their gazes locked in a silent battle of wills.

"Hyung..." Jungkook's voice broke through the thick silence, pulling me back to reality. I turned to him, irritation bubbling beneath the surface. "What?" I snapped, my patience wearing thin.

"Are they okay?" Jungkook whispered, his eyes darting between Jimin and Y/N with concern etched on his features.

"Does it look like I know?" I shot back, my frustration mounting with each passing second. "You should, both of them are your best friends," Jungkook retorted, his tone tinged with sass.

"You punk," I muttered under my breath, shooting him a glare before turning my attention back to the two lovebirds – or whatever they were. They were still standing there, locked in a staring contest that seemed to stretch on for eternity.

"You can take my coffee..." Jimin's voice broke the silence, his words stumbling out in a rush of nervous energy.

"U-uh...I-I don't like coffee..." Y/N's voice was barely above a whisper, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

Don't like coffee? I almost choked on air at her response. That girl practically lived on the stuff – it was like her lifeblood. I couldn't help but wonder what was going on between them. Were they sick? Possessed by aliens? Or maybe...just maybe...they were finally starting to realize that there was something more between them than just awkward glances and stammered words.

But then again, this was Jimin and Y/N we were talking about – two of the most oblivious people on the planet when it came to matters of the heart. I shook my head, pushing aside my thoughts as I braced myself for whatever drama was about to unfold.

With those two, you never knew what was going to happen next.

"Taehyung," Y/N and Jimin said in perfect unison, their voices blending together in a strange harmony that sent a shiver down my spine. I looked back and forth between them, feeling a sense of déjà vu wash over me. Not again.

"I called him first," Jimin insisted, his tone laced with mock indignation.

"You did not," Y/N shot back, her eyebrows furrowing in irritation.

"Oh please. You need to get your ears checked," Jimin retorted, taking a step closer to her. Y/N stood her ground, her jaw clenched in defiance as she stared him down.

Their bickering reached a fever pitch, each word dripping with sarcasm and frustration. It was like watching a tennis match, with insults flying back and forth across the room faster than I could keep up.

But then, in the midst of their verbal sparring, something strange happened. They both paused, their eyes locking in a moment of shared understanding. It was like they had suddenly become aware of just how close they were standing to each other – too close for comfort, yet not close enough to be considered intimate.

Jimin awkwardly cleared his throat, breaking the tension that hung heavy in the air. "Go ahead," he mumbled, gesturing towards Y/N with a hesitant hand.

Y/N glanced up at me, a silent plea for rescue written in her eyes. Without hesitation, I rose from my seat and made my way over to her, offering her a safe haven between Jungkook and Jin in the far corner of the room.

As she settled into her new spot, a safe distance away from Jimin, I couldn't help but wonder: what kind of lovers were these two? Did they like each other? Hate each other? Or were they just two lost souls caught in the tangled web of their own emotions?

They are just dumb. But you know who's dumber? Me. I'm their mediator..the middle best friend. Your laughing at me aren't you?
