Chapter 15: Day 5: Good memories, bad memories

1 Day later

We then cut to the Boy's room as we see Speed sitting on the bed looking out the window thinking about something as he then thinks to himself.

Speed:*It's been 5 days. How come I'm still thinking about this?*

Just then someone then knocks on the door.

Speed composes himself and says.

Speed: It's unlocked, you can come in.

Just then, Lazuli enters the door.

Lazuli: Hey Speedy.

Speed: Hey Lazi. Why are you here?

Lazuli: I'm here so you can know that we are going to leave in a few minutes.

Speed gives a slight sigh as he then gets up lethargically.

Speed: Ok, I'll be right down,

Lazuli: Um, Speedy?

Speed: Yeah?

Lazuli: Are you ok?

Speed: Uh...Yeah. Why do you ask?

Lazuli: I'm just checking. You seem a bit out of it.

Speed: Oh...I wasn't able to get enough sleep last night. Don't worry, I'll be fine.

Lazuli: If you say so.

Lazuli then leaves

Speed then sighs as he then thinks.

Speed:*Hopefully this trip can help me.*

Speed then leaves the room.

We cut to the outside of the house as Black looks into the ocean and thinks.

Black:* After all those things I said back then and now. Why does he still care about me?*

Just then Pearl goes over to Black and says.

Pearl: Hey, Black. What are you doing?

Black then looks at Pearl and says.

Black: Oh...um...just looking out into the ocean.

There was silence for a minute until Pearl said.

Pearl: Okaay then. Anyway I want to let you know that we are going to leave for a few minutes. So let's head inside.

Black: Sure.

As they walk inside Black continues to ponder what he was thinking about earlier.

45 min later

We cut to the group as they are riding the train.

We then see Speed as he looks out the window as he remembers the conversation 5 days ago.

We flashback 5 days earlier to Pearl's room at the squad house.

Pearl: Hey, Jolteon, can I ask you something?

Speed: Sure, what is it?

Pearl: Well, remember that you asked me to help you search for your parents.

Speed: Yeah, but they ended up being dead.

Pearl: Jolteon, we weren't certain. The DNA from the bones you gave me shows a relation, but they were both male meaning that your dad and most likely an uncle died. That doesn't rule out your mother.

Speed: Yeah, but it was most likely what happened to her.

Pearl: Anyway, I continued searching for a few years actually.
