Kate's POV
I finally landed on the island. I walked through the doors that read Jurassic World. I smiled. I haven't been here in so long. My mother left my father when I was young. She said his job was putting us in danger- so she left, took me with her, and moved to New York. I haven't seen my dad since I was 8 years old- I'm 15 now. 7 years since I've last seen him. Who knows what he's been up too- mom won't let me call him either. I only know that some dinosaur caused damage here in Jurassic World, but nothing else. I kept walking til' I saw a girl- young, bright eyes, and fiery red hair. She smiled.
"Hi, I'm Claire. Is this your first time at Jurassic World?"
"Actually no, I used to live here. My dad works here," I said.
"Oh, uh, what's his name?" She seemed nervous.
"Owen Grady, he works with the-"
She interrupted me.
"Velociraptors. He works with the velociraptors."
"Ya. Uh. How did you know that?"
"And your Kate aren't you?"
"Uh... ya"
I laughed nervously.
"Sorry, um. Okay. I'll call your dad to tell him that your here."
"Why do you have his number?"
"Maybe he should explain."
This made me mad. Im a bit of a tomboy, and I'm a strong girl. I can inflict pain when I need to. I grabbed her throat and lifted her off the ground.
"Who are you?" I demanded, squeezing harder on her throat. She winced in pain but I kept tightening my grip.
"Let. Me. Go," she struggled.
"Then tell me who are you?! And how do you know so much about me and my family?!" I yelled.
"I'm- I'm his girlfriend," she choked.
"You? Your his girlfriend?!" I said not releasing my grip.
"Please," she begged.
"Please what?!" I spat.
"Your- your choking-" she paused, "-me."
"Good," I laughed. "You deserve to die," I whispered. I dropped her on the ground and kicked her in the stomach. She grabbed it in pain. Her eyes were watering, "C'mon! Cry! Go ahead! Unless you want me to kick you again?"
A tear escaped her eye as I kicked her stomach again. She fell to the ground rocking slightly. I smiled knowing that I caused her pain. I knelt down next to her and whispered "and if you ever tell my father about this- I swear I will make your life a living hell."
And with that I left.
