This story is partly based on the dreams I've had! (I've added things/storyline, sorry if there's bad English)             Enjoy!!

As I stepped out of the bookstore, I saw the moon was already up. I sighed and started walking down the jagged sidewalk with a new book in my hand that I would read in my free time. I walked into the parking lot which had a few cars parked including mine. My

My life was mostly normal, I had a dream- I wanted to be an actor, like the ones on T.V. I knew it would never happen, I was a veterinarian and I enjoyed helping animals for a living.

I got my keys out of my pocket and open up the back. Junk was everywhere and I knew I needed to clean it on my free days. I set the book down in one of my bags and went to the driver's seat.

The drive home wasn't anything unsual, a few deer leaping in the grass as I drove, a couple houses in the suburban area.

I got chills as I put my car in the driveway, I was getting really tired all of a sudden, probably because it was 9:10ish and I had a long day at work. I didn't bother to get the book and I just locked my car as I strode up my stairs, getting the keys to unlock my house.

When I walked in my cat, Luna greeted me with a hello (A friendly meow) and I closed the door, I was so tired from everything that I didn't bother to take a shower since tomorrow would be my day off anyway. I changed out of my jeans and laid down on the bed, before I knew it, I fell asleep like that.

I awoke in my living room, the moonlight shining through the closed window, it looked like it was 2-3 A.M.

On the chair in my living room, laid a unusual man- no, a monster? He was fully black, except different shades. He looked about 7 feet tall, jagged horns, lanky, and had no face visible. He looked like a devil and I was not afraid.

"Who are you?" I heard myself say to him.

No response.

The monster got up, he looked even taller now than I had expected.

"I'm not a monster." I heard in the back of my mind. The man still stared at me, he didn't say anything.

I awoke from my dream a few seconds later, taking breaths of air, cold sweat trickling down my back and Luna next to me.
