I suck in my breath as my boss calls me in from my office, I sit down and fidget with my fingers as I wait for my boss to come in... he walks in
He smiles, "Ms. Griffin! I've been expecting you.." he shakes my hand and sits down on his chair, "But it's come to my attention that you have been stealing money from the company and have been lying.." His jaw tenses and his muscles flex.
I sit back and say, "Mr. Comolozo, I'm sorry...I'm just trying to provide for my daughter. I never meant any harm towards anyone or the company. Please I need this." Tears are pricking my eyes.
He shakes his head, "I'm sorry, but your fired." a tear slips out running down my face. i wipe it off and stand up, "You know what i've been through Samuel.." then a walk out running to the parking lot crying...
I get in my Subaru and drive to daycare to pick up Amber and after that I pack our belongings and put them in the car...I start sobbing and start driving far from L.A.
*FEW DAYS LATER*
I arrived at New York City, We move our stuff in the new small apartment...
